Hahaha yeah. Timezone pay is awful, but jury duty is worse.
My girlfriend has suddenly decided she doesn't want the K770i anymore. Women eh? Probably getting her a K660i from etown if they'll lower their prices a bit.

Doing jury duty was inconvenient and the money isn't appealing. But the experience really opened my eyes to how the justice system works. The court staff were excellent, they supplied us an excellent dinner when our deliberations went into the evening and eventually supplied us taxis to get home.
I wish telecommunication companies could provide such a high quality of customer service. |

I'm not buying from them until they supply a proper 1 year warranty and up their reliability a bit. They still seem a bit dodgy to me.

Lol Oli are you still wary about them because of this?

Pffft, I just emailed Expert Infotech asking whether their phones come with a one year warranty and got this in reply:
"Yes the phone comes with 1 year warranty. Its an imported item.It comes with 1 year warranty by Manufacturer Overseas, we will take care of its warranty for 1 year."
Lol, I'm sorry but I just can't give my money to a company that can't punctuate properly. Also, it doesn't sound very good to say "It comes with 1 year warranty by Manufacturer Overseas, we will take care of its warranty for 1 year."
It makes them sound like scammers, so screw that! Even if they are trustworthy, I'm not going to risk it.

Pretty much. But mostly just that if there is a fault with the phone, they are going to send it back to where they bought it from, meaning an extra long wait for repair. I'm not putting up with that. Etown and Parallel Imported have their own technicians that fix phones and that's what I call good service.

@K71: It would be cool if you could select some and send me the links. Obviously I can't use all of our photos, so if you select the ones you like the best I think it would be better. Cheers.
Just wanted to say my girlfriend is now the semi-proud owner of a black K770i. We went and got it for her yesterday. The main gripes with the phone are that the menu is a bit laggy and when texting it is very easy to click the camera button and mess up the text. Texting is laggy too. Anyway I'm going to have a look at it today to see if I can find a fix.

Guys, good morning! Which is better? K850i or K770i? I already have K800i but I'm planning to buy another SE phone.

Hi mate, I don't think the K770i is much of an upgrade from your K800i really. In fact in terms of flash, it is a downgrade. So I'd say go for the K850i but just be sure to look for a more recent production model.

Oh ok. Thank you very much. There are some people that k770 is better than k850.

Well my girlfriend just got a K770i and it is very nice, but one thing that bothers me is that it uses the old Sony Ericsson software and it just wouldn't be worth it coming from a K800i in my opinion. It is a really nice phone and it is certainly worth the money, don't get me wrong, but I think that it's better for us mobile phone forum goers to get a more modern phone.
