Suggestion guys, if can wait for the official release of the FW upgrade on the last wk. of May, do so. The FW update available now is in a way like a beta. --just my 2 cents worth-- :D

@babynino, R2D005 is not beta. sonyericsson will not make available to public a beta software. R2D005 fixed a lot of gprs instabilities on my unit. sonyericsson has two types of firmware available; a) developer; and b) consumer.

@*,
the firmware upgrade *does not* have anything to do with what happened to gprs now, to ferrarista and to myself in the past. for some reasons beyond me, smartnet had problems "putting back the unit" in three of these occasions.

i have informed mr. rodney gaviola of our "experiences" with smartnet with regards to smartnet "assembling the phone back."

smartnet is still the fastest when it comes to upgrading the units. as long as they don't open it. my upgrade was perfect, to give them credit. in fact, i am somewhat "guilty" because it was i who told grps, "pre, bat pinkish yung screen ng phone mo", which triggered his request to have the lcd replaced, which led to this inconvenience and frustration he is facing now.

WELCOME TO ESATO! di ko napansin agad. Any service you use over GPRS (except SMS) are free: internet, email, chat, logos, etc.

@jhermano re:deleting sent messages
mga may tinatago lang yung nag-bubura agad ng sent msgs. walang ebidensya, walang sabit

@ferr44 re:radio broadcast recording
hehehe ... siniguradong meron syang record. dalhin mo bukas ng marinig naming mga di nakarinig

Handsome Puppy,

Have you installed the Socket communications BT drivers into your HP 720?

Install mo na rin ang Tascal RegEdit. Or any registry editor para sa HP 720.

Subukan natin bukas.
