@rizzamarv
Take a look at Dell, they have some WP7 stunners and with different form factors. I don't think they've been out in the wild yet but I hope they all make the release.
I think the X8 is the last release for the year, phones at the next announcement will be available in 2011. They are under pressure to announce the WP7 phone sooner than later because there will already be a number of devices available at the official WP7 release around November. It would be suicide not to publicly declare they have something worth waiting for because they know that there are some mega spec devices coming, all high end going beyond any current device. If you look at the WP7 requirements, you know what to expect.
In terms of sales, have done well with the X10 but the Symbian situation is quite bad at the moment. As good as the N8 is, the OS may fail it so won't be throwing out loads of Symbain devices. A 12MP Android would be a smart move to make because the X10 at its ridiculous price is doing very well so you imagine that they could get away with a 12MP version. I think that Joe Public would go for Android over Symbain in this type of feature phone.
Some rumbles about the laptop which suggests an announcement soon maybe. Some were joking about it appearing in the new Metal Gear Solid 5 game but that's probably a joke only. The MGS5 game is Sony exclusive not the MGS Rising thing, I seem to recall a baddie in MGS4 with a flip phone. |

I know the x10 has done pretty well but one of the negative points with some critics was the all plastic housing. Will SE ever experiment with metal casings?

Does SE have plan on developing a high-end phone using their own OS? Will PlayTV be incorporated in some high-end SE phone in the future? |

thanks for the great info as always. Have seen the Dell leeks and am especially interested in Lightning (although the size does worry me a little) but love the formfactor! However one major problem for me would be that they are not continuing Skype on WP7. Or does it just mean Skype will be incorporated like an App instead of a prog? The reason being I am Abroad for 8 of 12 months a year and Skype is absolutly essential for me....
Futhermore its not
Aspen might not be high end in many aspects but it does serve all of my business needs and for multimedia I'll just have to stick to my Ipod touch...
Really cannot understand that SE doesn't offer an Android Qwerty for business users (minis don't count ) |

I think this is the one that has no BT headset and no dock, only the phone plus another headset which will cost less than 50 euros off the regular aino package

If this is the case, isn't this old news? Haven't we already heard about an Aino back in May with less in the packaging that will be cheaper? 2gb Memory card, no BT headset, no charging dock.

Unless this is something else....

I wrote that article.
Apparently, one of my fellow Aino users already received a package like that.

CEO Bert Nordberg believes the company will probably stop building phones around either Symbian or Windows Mobile.
