@ Jojo,
Some wild stunts in that video, mate.
As for that dude riding that ZX10R at just under 300km/h on a twisty public road with minimal run-off area, well that's just mad..even though you can see he knows the road well by the way he brakes and changes gears. Still crazy; and that truck was pretty close...

Thanks for those links, pal.

Back to the phone stuff, the W960i is now selling for 319.95 (approx R4500) from CPW.

@ tranced,
It's been quite a busy start to the new year for me so far, but I'm quite excited about what this year has in store, including a holiday back in my native SA in late July and August.
Just can't wait for that one; haven't been back for 3 years, the longest I've ever been away from SA...

@Rhino: That's an awesome site.
Anyone on MTN pay-as-you-go would've noticed that they've ended their summer tariff promotion.
Basically if your area message displayed "MTNZONE 95%" it meant that you would only pay 95% of call charges...Last week it went as low as 5% and 10%.
My question is: If networks have the ability to impliment such a system why can't they differentiate between local and long distance calls?

@Brix In SA you pay for distance calls even if you phone your girlfriend next door. This is how it is and it will stay that way for a loooong time.

@ All Someone help the SAPS. It looks like the top cop is 'sorting out' some 'private matters'. According to his friend Agliotti, the Scorpions must be disbaned with imediate effect and stop prosecuting such noble man as him and Zuma and the rst of the 'cream de la cream'. Furthermore, did you know - the Scorpions and NPA work for the CIA and FBI ? ? ? Huh, I love my work and especially my T O P Management
I can't believe a few days ago I had to lockup a lady with a baby on her arm because of shoplifting. (She stole a +-5Rand bread at the local cafe)
Does the word JUSTICE mean something in your country? It certaily means a lot in SA. Wish you all a happy 2008 (albeit late)

Hey kryps.by shock u mean the horror of 'afterbirth' lol ive ask a couple of men friends about their experiences being present at the birth and it alway ends there with a look of horror on their faces.lol Beautiful baby and congrats to them. @Mario The politics in this country be it goverment,in the police force,in sport ect boggles the mind.What can you do though.Your tiny voice can never penetrate the top echelons of power.Arrested a woman for shoplifting R5 worth of merchandise.Why didnt u just drop her off around the corner?She broke the law yes but thats just anal.Cmon Mario,get a couple of promotions and sort out our police force which is ridden with vagabonds and people who r just cops for the sake of having a job.We need cops that are passionate,brave and ohnest regardless of how much they get paid.I have high respect for those cops,especially in this country where danger to their lives is an everyday realisation.

I really wish I could do something about it, but I can't. I see lots of crime been commited among my own police buddies (especially the management like using police vehicles without permission which amount to theft of petrol and state property). There is not much control anywere - wich is good for me (I did not had a good inspection in over a year now). The problem is - the ones which must inspect know less then the ones to be inspected. To get a job in the police nowadays, is not about what you know but WHO you know and ofcourse, skin color - which plays a major role in any state dep. (especially with promotions - that you mention it). Everything is 'moertoe'. I report on duty and off duty and get my pay, like anyone als As regurarely as posible not to atract to much attention. Did you know, our top cop, Selebi was a manager at SAB before joining the police (not long ago) and immediately gor promoted to General ! ! ! At Bisho (our new head office) cleaners get promoted to Caps and Sups. I am due for promotion for 5-6 years now,but who cares.My only aim is to make aware the world at large about the SAPS's plite. You know, after the elephants sort each other out (Zuma and the lot), they have a bad tendency to trample on the ants (a la Zim). Huh, after the election next year I will join the ANC. Problem solved (At least on my site)
