Btw Sony G lens idea is nothing new, Nokia had it 10 years ago,
And this is what I think about extra lenses, seems pointless IMO, why would someone mount 18MP camera on Honami when it has 20,7 MP? -_- |

It's not about the megapixels, more important will be image quality and optical zoom.
In both categories the addon lenses will logically perform much better than the Honami itself.

In both categories the addon lenses will logically perform much better than the Honami itself.
So automatically Sony admits their sensor in Honami is shitty so they provide better one in add-on lens? How does that sound? I prefer phone that has good sensor from start, no bulky accessories needed. And I'll say it again, it might have sense if there would be xenon flash on these lenses, there isn't. So the only advantage of G lens is optical zoom, that can be obtained with a much smaller accessory, like this:

I agree 101%, even the 1" sensor inside the QX100 lens is a piece of crap, WVIL has a Freaking Full frame sensor inside it!!! the Zeiss T* F1.8 is last year's tech in the camera world. and the lens is so heavy it will break your neck carrying your phone alongside it. also Honami's camera is pure sh*t, 4K video? WTH is Sony smoking? P*rn Industry will definitely smile into it and the world becomes more twisted, and Honami's sh*tty 20mp camera won't sell at all, what sane person would want to clearly see their facial pores and pimples at 100%?

Wow so I see that matter-of-fact discussion here is pointless, I'm not saying Honami cam will be shitty, Sony is, by selling additional lens with 18MP camera sensor in it. I see you guys only tolerate people who claim that Honami camera beats the crap of 1020 and it will even beat 808 simply by looking at one close-up pic, congratulations 
I'm long enough on this forum to know, that all these fascination will fade away when the real deal comes out, oh do I remember the hype about Xperia S camera, Xperia Z camera(I remember I got bashed for saying it's crap, and that I'm trolling, etc. etc., who looks stupid now huh? ), it was to beat everything, and how did that end?
I love sony phones but for f*ck's sake, have some criticism. |
