Its only because the 6680 is a smartphone. If you dont want to part with your K750i but also have smartphone options, you could always buy a cheap second hand 6600 or N-gage, which would probably do the same job anyway.
Or do what i do, use a powerful PDA that makes S60 phones look childish by what it can do and more.

Hey guys,
I just got my K750i, and I have a question about the phonebook.
It will only let me search with the first character, I press. This is strange because i have read several reviews heralding the K750 for having mutli-character phonebook searching.
I have a K700i and it does multi-character phonebook searching, so I am confused as to why Sony Ericsson would take a step backwards.
Would it make a difference if I had all of my K750's memory full ? (Currently I have 500 contacts which is the max). I also have an unbranded K750i. |

my k750 has multicharacter phonebook search just like my k700
press b and it goes to first contact starting with b
then press a and it goes to first contact starting with ba
etc.

Exactly what I do to, and has been doing since I skipped my P800 for a T610 and an Ipaq
Why go for a petty smartphone, when a real PDA does it so much better, and lets me change phone everytime S//E puts out a nice small handset like the K750 without losing the PDA

Well, i use a XDA2, so even if i dont have my K750i with me i can always make calls on the O2 PAYG sim i have in it.
Im still to get the free GPRS working on it however.
Btw, i can search the phonebook with more than one letter on my UK K750i too.

One thing mentioned here
http://www.mobile-review.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=30534
is that the sound in the headset is much louder now. |

I am sorry if this has been asked before, but why can't I go from standby to active using the joystick? It used to work with the T610 & T300. |

Some one here that have applied for the Sony Ericssons Limited Edition offer for the K750i? I pre-ordered my phone through a webshop and the Limited Edition offer did were not applicable...
What I'm interested in is the "Unique content on the VIP site for downloading to the K750i". Could be things like new themes etc.
Any one that do have the stuff?
