So how'd things go when you spoke to the Ombudsman's office, Brix?

Didn't manage to get through to the ombudsman, spent most of the time dealing with the bank and the detective investigating my case. Spoke to a friend last night and he said his girlfriend's car had also been stolen...in the same area. This whole week has been an emotional rollercoaster.

Glad you like the tune Wangster.Thats my best tune on the Chinese Democracy CD and pretty much the only one I listen to.Theres one more I might consider sending you called Madagascar (A kind of November Rain Ballad.) If you want that one let me know.

Eish Brix.Been busy hey bud.

Well lucky you Kryps. Its the story of my life not getting things (the Wangsta's xmas stocking package went awol remember)

What a lovely day in Cape Town today.Hey Wangs come over for a swim lol

Im just chilling today by the pool.Found a antique writing box in my grandfathers garage thats worth quite alot of money,so Im busy restoring it to its former glory. They dont make things like they use to.Its gorgeous.Going to make it beautiful (replace the mother-of-pearl inlays, replace some pieces that are missing and match it to the original wood, fix the hinges and then finish it off with 2 coats of shellac and give it a polish if need be) He going to be so chuffed.Properly restored you could sell it for a couple grand my boss says.(the junk that people leave lying around in their garages hey lol)

That's brilliant Hobbs, those writing boxes are scarce! I love antiques, really admire the craftsmanship which has gone into them. Plz post some pix of the restoration process, buddy

@ Jojo,
That's some wild stunts in that Zedge clip, matey... wouldn't mind I could perform antics like those, minus the crashes, off course...

Thanks, I'd like to give that other Gn'R song a listen, boet.

Eish, the last time I worked with shellac was in woodwork in matric, I think.

Good morning Jojo, happy Sunday to you too mate.

Guys, rumour has it that the new Tata may just hit our shores as well within a few months after it launches, according to a radio interview this evening with one of the big wheels from GM.

Gooood morning, Jojo.

P1i pic of my friend's motorcycle helmets, taken inside his garage:

...and a pic taken (in poor light conditions) of the cast iron tractor seat which I bought for the rat bike. It arrived this morning:

As you can imagine, I think I'm going to need a cushion for this seat... and Winter's not going to be much fun on that seat either... LOL
