I think tht nothing is free.Someone paid 2 make it free at consumptn level.Holidays r free 4 an average person/salary earner but what we overlook is tht someone,somehow pays 4 it in terms of loses.

@ihe: To be sure, the employer pays for the holiday. But I guess most employee couldn't care less.

@Aya,if d employee have a stake in d company,he "ll b concerned about d health of d company when most part of a month is spent on holidays.Nigeria's situation is unique bcos d govt is d largest employer of labour.We need 2 privatise more.

These business owners keep complaining of too many holidays.Me, I am enjoying them. That's why I can say" Happy Holidays" from the bottom of my heart.

@ihe, if the FG declares a holiday, enjoy it. Seriously I have never heard of workers( or employees in this case) going on strike demanding for more hols? Where does laziness come in?
