I checked few themes yesterday and it seems that it's always grey no matter which theme is used. It has to be FW dependant so hopefully sony acknowledged that and is going to change it with next FW update.
It would be illogical to make bars on ZL black and on Z grey so it would seem that it's something that is going to change in future. |

So what you guys think of the purple one over the black one?
I didn't like the white one becuase of the black front. X10 was the best white phone I have ever seen.
Tone of the purple seems quite nice but does it look girly?

I played with a live demo in the 3 store today and the screen is stunning even at 100% and the whole phone looks like the best phone i have ever seen love the design and screen just hope the camera is very good too. |

Yes X10 was amazing in white but also Arc.....
I take purple maybe but in fact I prefer ZL due to the camera button.

I too have seen the phone in the Three store. The screen, especially watching video, is fantastic. I really don't know what the fuss is about. I don't think anyone should judge the screen on the basis of a grey coloured theme, that's just silly.
Have a look yourself at your own preferred settings. Judging the phone from a few pictures you see on the internet doesn't makes sense because everyone has a different monitor and display settings.
