For those of you with a Satio. Am wondering bout video playback quality. Have any of you tried programs(e.g coreplayer) that allow divx/xvid playback?

Can anyone tell me whether the Satio Offers the option of receiving "selected calls only" or setting up a list of selected calls to receive or setting the incoming calls to "Contacts only"??
These were really handy features to have on the P990...

Any help appreciated.

Tried several times, waited for 5/10 minutes and nothing happened....

smartmovie will release a satio version soon...
Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.

@sambouka: I had the same problems like you, data connections active all the time. Somehow they were reduced by usage but I do not know how it really went right. My best guess is that using the Location application before Google and Wise pilot is doing the trick. And use it in a more open area at first...

In general about navigation as I use this as navigation in my car: I am very disappointed with Wise Pilot. It seems to be free but when you log in the online account you see the expiracy date is 4 weeks in my case. Just do not know if it is the application or just this more or less useless online account. What makes me really angry is that there is no option to switch off the damn voice guidance. This way my music stops streaming to my Bluetooth Car Audio whenever navigation has something to say.
So I needed an alternative: With free Google navigation for Android on the horizon I am not willing to spend crazy amounts of money for something so basic like GPS navigation (with online services, I do not need maps on the phone). I used to use Nav4All (Java) on my G900 but this is only free till the end of the year and at the moment the installations gets stuck at initial start up as the screen goes blank when entering the registration email-addresss.
The other free program I know of never worked on my G900: http://amazegps.com, also Java. Now the new version 5 is no longer free but the old free version (4.5) can still be downloaded from there site and works on Satio. And you can turn the voice down to 0. I just noticed today that now there is a trial version for one month (hello Google Navigation...) and the price for one year is pretty cheap compared to Wise Pilot. I'll give the new version a try soon.

Does anyone know of any other free or reasonalbe priced GPS-navigation?

Why don't you try TreckBuddy?
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...

i use Ndrive with my Satio and works like a charm..gps signal locks about 1-1,5 minutes and no charges at all since it uses pre-installed maps.also i bought a 16gb micro sd and completely removed wisepilot since its in the phone's card, and i only have google maps and N-drive which i use as a primary navigation app...

First of all; Wow - Opera 10 works fine. Installs fine, hasn't crashed - and also works equally well (perhaps better, to be honest) on the I8910 HD.

Only annoying thing is you can't go into Menu/Settings/Phone/Application settings/Default apps. and select Opera as a replacement to the current browser. I really hope Opera (or someone else) finds a way of doing that.

With the replacement browser in the form of Opera, other apps like Gravity for Twitter/Facebook etc - all we need now is a decent email client. Suddenly the Satio will start to become a lot more exciting to people who can avoid as much of S60 as possible!!

Own Skin is a great solution to build themes with your own wallpapers and keep the original Satio icons!
Try my anime manga (sexy) theme: Download
The icons and fonts you will see on the preview are nokia ones but once installed on your Satio it will be Satio's icons

SmartMovie Player. Its called something else now though; Ah ... CorePlayer!

Oh and to brighten your day - away from the X10 news ... Symbian-Foundation is working on better UI - I'll post a Youtube video of a user proposal that was featured @ SEE 2009 in the Satio thread.
