Spoke to them again...a much more helpful lady found it for me and placed it on order. Was due to get it tomorrow. However, she called me back (left a message) telling me that she made a mistake and that I'm on an old system which doesn't list that phone yet. So she can't send me it!! (despite there being 'thousands' on the other system!)
I have to call back tomo to find another handset.
What the hell?? grrr..... |

Got mine a couple of days ago, and it is an amazing phone.
Got mine from vodafone direct, said i wanted to leave and they upped my minutes and had the phone the next day.
Just need to get it link up wth my wirelss internet router, bit more playing needed i think.
Loaded some of the music i have on the computer and sounds brilliant, i'm also comparing it with my ipod shuffle, the new one and can't really tell much difference between them, i haven't compared it with my ipod video though. The compare was using the earphone supplied. The loading of music was a lot quick than what my w800i use to load up at.
Can't believe they made us wait so long, but what a wait. |

I've been listening to music all morning on mine and I'm very impressed. Much prefer the sound to my Ipod even with the cheapo headphones!
Top phone - just need to get my WLAN set up OK. I eventually managed to install apps - they need to go into the root of the media storage to install correctly. |

Hi, ordered my W960i today! got an upgrade with O2, 12 month £30 a month contract reduced from £45 - online 800 (800 minutes anytime, and 1000 texts) and the phone for £49.99! not bad eh means phone has cost me £230 over 12 months ((12 x £15) + £50) as my previous sim only contract was £15 a month |

I'm tempted to get the O2 Pay as you go phone from Carphonewarehouse and put my orange sim in it...
Does anyone know if the O2 Pay as you go phone is unlocked? |

I think your numbers are a bit of kid-ology but glad you're happy with the deal.
Beware though of these contracts as the data limit is 1mb. Might be OK with a few RSS feeds but follow the link to the page a few times and you'll be paying £3 per MB thereafter. The £10 bolt-on gives 'unlimited' data (subject to a 200mb 'fair usage' policy) and stuck on the back end of a cheap tariff could save you money.
Monitor your usage carefully over the next two or three months.
Does anyone else miss the side-mounted 'back' button as much as I do?
