@jackal: i think pink is right, on the newer plans of globe (g-txt, g-talk, etc.), no more sms charging for non-globe numbers for as long as u haven't consumed your allocation yet. after which, 1 peso per sms. baka ur talking about the older plans (advantage, personal, etc.)? but yes, smart seems cheaper in the long run.. |

@berry onga feel the same way kaya 3 days ago i was just about to terminate my 5yr old line kasi nga aside with what you've just mentioned, we weren't likewise receiving that much benefits from them eh we all know naman how much these carriers rake profit from our air time usage and txt msgs. was gonna switch to smart kasi nga free yun t68i with their highest plan (lock nga lng for 2yrs). so called and adviced the cs operator at globe's 7301888 about my plans. she got my no and told me a cs person from their marketing dept would call me and discuss about my intentions. after 10 mins they call and asked me why i was migrating to the other carrier. just told them simply smart was giving me a free fone. then they countered and told me they'd give an additional 7k discount to the initial 5k discount they gave me when i got a t68i last month during their handset upgrade promo, wag lang daw ako lumipat. said to myself uy ok ito ha . i then told her if possible i would prefer a free fone instead. then she says she'll work on it and sana daw the fone i would choose was more or less 7k din para wala daw shado probs. told her i'm keen on the R600. the ff morning she calls again and congrats me that i can already pickup the phone of my request at their sm manila bisnez centre Hahay now i'm stuck with globe again for another 18mos. stupid me i should asked or demanded for a more expensive phone  ... pero pwede na din and am happy (for now) with the R600. yun lang just sharing din. oks din sa smart ha you got a vanity no  ... was there an additional charge for that? |
