I'm from Birkirkara, currently living near Naxxar. I am going for some days in Gozo for the 'Santa Maria' period.. the place will be full of Maltese, won't be that careful to leave the keys around during this time...!!!

Will go on holiday to Malta at the end of September. Close to La Vallette. Not the first time I go there though.
But I don't have a K750, so no pics here.

Two shots of the Grand Harbour from the Upper Baracca
After a week in Hazy Lugano the first pic I took back on the island was of the beautiful sky...
This was the view from Mount San Salvatore (Lugano, Switzerland)
Will try and take some pics of Malta's beaches.

@ Michka...shame about you not having a k750i for your holiday. Still take plenty of snaps with a camera if you can though!
@ Bobby77.. those shots of The GRand Harbour are really good, and bring back many memories...I've been in and out of that harbour many many times.
How did your trip to Lugano go?
More shots of anywhere in Malta would be good mate!!!
Here's a few shots of some plants that are in my conservatory.I've only just got the 'fly trap', its only small but i hope it will grow big! The plant with the white flower is a 'Peace Lilly' and i can't remember what the other one is at the moment. It is about to flower and i will post more pics when it has opened fully.
There seems to be a problem with uploading the photo's so i will try again later (Sorry folks!).

You can use the same cloth to clean the lens as you would your glasses. Also, try using a small 'blower brush' to remove any dust etc. You can buy a brush from most photographic shops.
Hope this helps you to clean your lens...then you can post some photo's too!!! |

Hello. I have registered today to this wonderfull forum and this is my first post.
I have read all pages (yes, all 101 pages) of this topic trying to identify the problem of the camera blur of my K750i. I didn't manage to come into a conclusion, so I need your help. In your opinion, is the quality of the pictures below acceptable or I have to return my K750i for a replacement? I have it only for three days.
Firmware version R1L002, manufactured 05WEEK26.
Thanks!

Hello all.
Trying to identify the blur problem I did the following.
I took one picture with the camera at normal position. I took another picture with the camera upside down. In both pictures the camera was standing on a tripod. The left part of the first picture and the right part of the rotated second picture are blurred. The question is, how much blurred is the half of the picture? Is it acceptable?
I made an experiment and I want to share with you my conclusion.
I started downsampling - that means reducing the size - of the second picture until the clear left part becomes as blurred as the first one. The size was 640X450, that means 0,3 Mp approximately!!!
So, my camera is not 2 Mp, but 1,3 Mp. 1 Mp at the right and 0,3 Mp at the left side of it.
The 1st picture is a full size crop of the normal picture. The 2nd, a crop of the second image, 180 deg rotated. The 3rd is a crop of the 2nd picture reduced in size in 640X480.
You can come to your own conclusion.
---Edit---
Looking at the pictures in the forum it seems to me that the 1st picture is more clear than the 3rd, but in my computer, during processing, they were the same. Anyhow, you can compare the first two.
