@ramu
I liked the review... seems like the battery life will be good, reading the reviews ...
One things made me laugh... they gave the Xperia Z 4.5 Stars... praising the screen...
here they gave the Z1 4 stars putting the screen in the cons! LOL...
From what I saw the Z1 screen is clearly superior to the Z!
And also... Mixed bag of camera review... some praise it some not to much...
As of now I'm impressed from what I have saw (counting every test and review...) surely it is not at the level of the 808, or the 1020... but this is right, they have bigger sensor and are bulkier, the Z1 is a "mothernicesexypieceofdevice" that did not want to compromise haestetics for functionality, it is the perfect balance IMHO... |

Most of the reviews coming out now have a prototype phone with non-final software!
Wait until the big sites gets their retail units and we will see a great difference between Z and Z1.
One thing I wonder is whether the pncil-touch-layer-whatever on Ultra actually makes that screen better than Z1. The Ultra screen is clearly better from what I've seen, specially the viewing angles. Head-on it's not that much difference and the colors pop like no other Sony device.
And sound of speakers will we see a great difference in retail units?

No, why would it?
In the review pockelint
Sound advice
Sound quality we found to cause some vibration when turned up to higher volumes, and the same can be said for the ear speaker which, unfortunately, is of average quality. We suspect that using the excellent speakers on the HTC One has shifted our expectations, but we found overall that callers via the Z1 weren't as rich as clear as they can be on other devices.

ok lets some up the Z1 pros and cons against other flagships of the android phones: (4.7-5.2")
HTC ONE pro over the Z1:
better bass when using speakers
better in extreme angels (the Z1 tops at 150-160 witch is impressive while the one could still get to 178)
IR blaster
Galaxy s4 pro's over the Z1:
better contrast ratio (amoled vs LCD)
IR blaster
removable battery
LG G2 pro's over the Z1:
better in extreme angels
Z1 PRO'S OVER HTC ONE:
better CPU s800 vs s600
better GPU adreno 330 vs 320
much bigger battery
Water and dustproof IP55 / IP 58
better contrast ratio (deeper blacks)
better colors on screen
better brightness
better Camera
has a shutterkey for the camera
micro sd slot
Z1 PRO'S OVER galaxy s4 :
better CPU s800 vs s600
better GPU adreno 330 vs 320
much bigger battery
Water and dustproof IP55 / IP 58
better colors on screen (more natural to the eye)
better white reproduction
better brightness
better Camera
has a shutterkey for the camera
Z1 PRO'S OVER LG G2 :
the adreno 330 in z1 has 50mb more than the one in the lg2 so better performance in games
better camera
better white reproduction
better brightness
has a shutterkey for the camera
Water and dustproof IP55 / IP 58
micro sd slot
*OIS and and SIS are giving us the same results, and some times the SIS algorithms of the Z1 are superior than the OIS in other phones, so i won't consider it as a advantage nor as a disadvantage
*bezels were not taken into considerations as it's a matter of taste
*same as the UI

Z1 WINS HANDS DOWN
From the Italian site I was talking a while ago....
http://www.lucaviscardi.eu/2013/09/sony-z1-focus-fotocamera/
Camera samples... also a screen from The Sony Select section with the Social Camera APPS we will be able to buy in future
Also if I'm not mistaking the pics taken with the ON RED buttons are shot with HHT (I asked him to try it )

Bigger screen? Smaller frame (all the more surprising given the bigger screen). Lighter?
Better battery life*?

@moogoo and other waiting for C6906 release. It wont happen!! The Z1 with AT&T LTE bands is T-Mobile exclusive just like the Z was . Sony is having a very hard time with US carriers and only T-Mobile wants to work with Sony as of now. Only Z1 C9602 will be sold unlocked in the US and I was also told that the C6902 will be the one with low quality panels that are almost identical to Z/ZL.
The Z1 mini and Z2 might end up on AT&T but the negotiations are still ongoing.
In my opinion Sony is making a big mistake by not selling unlocked LTE phones in the US. |

His reasons to only give it 4/5 stars, are silly.
Clearly the LG G2 has more shortcomings in more important things, yet it gets awarded with five stars.
What a joke!

What the heck is with the G2 sounding like it's underwater?! And the continuous, pulsing, nauseating autofocus.
Z1 wins that video test for me. |

The Z1 is now in stock on sonymobile.pl, and will ship in 24 hrs when ordered, anyone from Poland taking the plunge?
I might next week when I am back at dorms again, and am tempted to try out Plus' LTE network, since now you can have it without a contract. |

he clearly stated that he would not use the bezels as pros or cons because they are highly subjective
Still the battery will surely be better on the G2! you are right |

^as we don't have the final version of the z1 software yet, i can't comment on battery life.
but what i can say is that the capacity is much bigger in the z1 and the lgg2 respect to otherphones |
