Think you'll find most powerful smartphones get warm or hot. It's normal upto a point as long as it don't over heat as in become so hot it becomes damaged or keeps turning off or something.

My XS gets a bit hot during use, but not to the point of me not being able to hold it and work with it properly.

Yeah, I'm hoping it gets fixed with the ICS upgrade. That's my only gripe tbh.

Facebook Integration

Guys I'm Facing a problem. I got FB integration on with the contacts and during the 1st time it updated all the contacts with their relevant contact pictures but later whenever somebody changes their contact information or Pictures, it's not highlighted in the phone even after repeated syncing...If I remove the facebook integration and account and then re-add it, the information then displayed is the latest. Is this a problem with Sony Ericsson Facebook Inside Experia or is there a remedy for it. The reason is I use FB only on my phone and not on computer.

Another issues, In contacts under the settings menu the 2nd option "Show Status Updates" is always greyed out. How to enable it?

Maybe auto sync should be ON. I don't use it.

Auto Sync is on...

The main problem is "Show Status updates : Filter status updates from services in your contact lists" is greyed out and not clickable or working

How does the NFC-functionality work on the Xperia S, specifically in regards to changing settings? What I mean is if you, for instance create a "profile" connected to one of the Smart Tags that turns off bluetooth and changes the volume (to be used as a kind "Night Mode", when going to bed), do you have - do you have to set up another Smart Tag to reset the settings (to be used when leaving the bed)?

That's what I do. I tap it on a tag in my bedroom to turn everything off and set the alarm, and also charge it, and then when I wake up I've got a tag in my wallet and tap it on that. V handy.

I take all back I said about the Xperia S and Sony. Sometimes I can be very critical and very fussy person. But I have an Xperia U and even that as a budget device is excellent. Am pleased

Glad you like it Bonovox. I love my X S and thought some of the criticism on here was a tad harsh, and it still surprises me how passionate people can be about phones. Do people argue so vehemently about TVs or MP3 players?

For the money, the X U is a cracking phone.
