I bet the P910i/1 gig memory card combination is more expensive than an N91.

The P910 is bigger in size but weighs 5 grams less, probably because of the N91's metal structures.

In MP3 use I'm sure the N91 can take the P910i easily. It even has playback buttons under the screen which is highly useful. Both play in stereo I suppose, but the N91 gives you more disk space and Visual Radio as a bonus.

With a full screen AVI/DVD/whatever player, I'm also sure N91 is good for watching movies, it can take a few and the screen quality should be adequate too.

The above is based on my Series 60 experiences and frustrations with limited MP3 memory/software (with the K700i).
From Nokias to an SE to whatever.

You should have in mind that P910 is just i slight update from P900 and 900 is over 1.5 year old. And N91 is said to come in Q4 then P900 will be two years.

N91 is a big one and will never "crush" either K750 or W800, maybe only in specs, but not in number of sales, not in size, not in price and so on!

N91 has 4 Gigs, If you buy a W800 and 2 2GB Cards, Calculate the price.

Now you´re only talking about memory, that´s one thing out of hundreds.
Most people don´t need 4gigs.
You´re talking like it won´t be a singel K750 sold because of this phone. Sure some gadget freaks will buy the N91 but the most people will buy K750.

That's not what I'm saying. That's your interpretation.
Some people will buy N91, simply because it has a hard drive. This is for the exact same reason people buy iPods today, as opposed to buying flash players. And vice-versa.

I personally have an iPod with many many gigs, and its too small. I'm not thinking to get N91 ever anyway, and as I said in some previous posts will stick to my iPod, a separate digital camera, and my PSP.

Edit:
Ah, and I wont buy a K750. If I were to buy a phone for its MP3 capability, I would without hesitation go for the one that offers the best possible storage: N91.

Yeah Id buy an iPod instead of several flash ipod shuffles.

Its much easier if all the memory is internal. Also the K750 isnt a smartphone, unlike the N91. and the design is amazing. while with K750 its classy but kinda dull.

Although in some ways the N91 is too music based. You get handy music controls on the outside but the regular keypad seems horrible. I think a really good music phone would have its audio controls on one side leaving the keypad as normal as possible. I think people even could opt for other phones with flash memory because of the keypad.

What is it with giants anyways? They always try to re-invent the wheel. Nokia for one comes up with visual radio when the standard is RDS. I think very highly of SE for them not sticking to Sony's tech but going for the more standard tech. Why can't big companies just go with the standards then try to make something totaly revolutionary which then could be taken as the next standard?

Visual Radio has nothing to do with the RDS. They are two different things. Visual Radio is an interactive application on top of FM radio.

- Specs are impressive, especially the n91.
- It is remarkable that the phone next to mp3 playse the iTunes-formats (aac etc.) AND WMA. That is a revolution.
- I wonder what the price will be.
- As impressive as the features are, it is revoltingly ugly. I can't get into the Nokia design. It is not timeless at all.
- I wonder what other brands will do. SE can't stop at the k750/w800 can they?

To compare the P910i with a N91 is like comparing a VW Beatle with the latest VW Touarec v8. Both have the VW Badge on, but this is just about all they have in common and worth comparing. Greetings from South Africa. Mario. ;-)

@mario
You're saying N91 is like a Touareg? But then a P910 wouldn't be a beetle, it would be something like an BMW X5 And why are they being compared anyways?

@orange
And your actually supposed to interact with your radio?
