Unfortunately I can't share your humor on the matter. Some of my friends are asking about this mobile, and since they consider me a little "knowledgeable" as far as telecom issues are concerend, they simply ask whether it was a good phone or not and the features it has. I can't provide a sufficient answer. What do I say to people? That the people who brought it into the country do not know? how ridiculous

I got my K750i from NY for $475 +8% tax......ASHTA YA NASS DE GAMED TU7N. going from k700 to k750i is like from t610 to k700. had to drive 3 hours to NY to pick it up. |

And they consider you to be Knowligable? You can tell them that the f500 is as good K500 and they should pick the one that they think looks better, that's of course if Deltek isn't selling the K500 for a higher price.
As for K750, well the changes are very minor. Screen same resolution but 262k, about same memory but also memory stick duo pro slot, supporting up to 2GB and 4GB when they make them. Camera only takes absolutely amazing photos compared to the K700 and 2MP size too. You also get a little bit better radio, better looking phone, bluetooth v2.0, and support for bluetooth java midlets. And another cool thing is you don't need a cradle the bundled cable does it all, even charges the phone through the USB port. And a bigger battery  Can't think of anything else that's really important. So basically if you think the K700 is great then I don't know a word good enough for the K750.
The only downside is that I'm not going to be able to afford it and I'm going to end up choosing between a K700 and K550, when that comes out. |

My last post was a reply to your last "humorous" post on the so-called f-500 matter. Assuming you're right that this phone is a k506, of which there's only the chinese version, then it's obvious that people who buy this phone might be faced with unnecessary "chinese" changes to the fw to fit the chinese language, the extent of which we have no knowledge of. For example, the k700c's firmware deleted an important feature found in the k700i used for contacts management (autosave on sim when new contact is saved). That's just an example. So if we can't make up our minds about the identity of that phone, people might get disappointed in what they get for no reason other than the fix that Deltech put us in with their inaccuracy and lack of proper knowledge. Hoe else can you give people advise unless based upon the right "knowledge". The "right" Knowledge is power you know. The delimmea is even more confusing if you know the fact that Deltech still sells the k500i for 1620 l.e. so we're talking about a 600-l.e. difference.
Got it or you need more clarification???

But since k500, 506 and 508 are all the same hardware and only differ in the firmware and looks, so I don't think deltek would be stupid enough to sell a phone with chinese. Although if the k500s is still 1620 I'd like someone to tell me if there is a more stupid company go the world.

Well we might actually get a benifit from not getting SE phone very quickly.  might upgrade the camera on the K750 in July to a CCD sensor plus better software. Of course we also could be stuck with all the old K750 with CMOS that no one would want. |

I don't exactly know when we got the K700. It was either August or november so optimism is good because its probably going to be the same story again. We didn't get the K300 yet.

The k7 was introduced to Egypt in November. The Deltech ad. was first posted on Al Akhbar's Saturday weekly issue of Nov. 06, 2004
