I don't know exactly. I've heard it's at the beginig/end of a song and only when playing ? sorry don"t know exactly
But it seems to be resolved in r1x016 (which is only for standalone setool version)

does anybody know where i can get a v800 fully unbranded to a z800, i need one bad and i dont want to go through all this hastle. |

The best u can do is to "brand" it yourself by using the setool. Since then I have a Z800 even with my own sms-tones!

Woo Hoo, finally got my v800. But desperately needs unbranding. Question ( sorry if its a rookie one ), if i unbrand it, and put the z800 firmaware on it, does this unlock it as well, or is that going to cost me more. I would be doing it with setool, so i no i need to get some credits. I take it an unbrand, and unlock would be 2 credits ??#
gbrook - I no you do this, how much is this going to cost me ??

I still have vodafone software (waiting for unlocking gear as we speak) but I upgraded the vodaffone software yesterday (just for the fun of it  ) and now I can't anymore.... so debranding suddenly became a matter of urgency

hello everyone ..
this is my first post here so hello again to everyone on this cool site ..
i got a V800 and like all here i wanna get rid of the voda branding and unlock it ..
some questions i have :
1 one thing that made me furious was that voda disabled the using mp3's as ringtones which a feature of me beloved K700i..
so will this firmware updating to the z800 firmware update enable this feature again ?
2 can i still use vodafone live ?
3 most of all is there a shop in central london that can do this for me ?
