Remember the pics of the V3 black leather case I posted a few pages back ?
I've managed to aquire a nice silver one which complements the phone a little better methinks. The silver leather case came with a removeable clip and neck strap attachments and cost me only £5.
Both keypad and screen are protected with this case so theres no case of fingerprints
Pictures can still be taken while the phone is open by unclipping the little presstud on the back so that it slides down a little.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |

nice case and suits the phone very well but I'm still using the great case that came with the phone as it enables me to use the phone "naked" so I can see it in all its shining glory

It´s a nice case, but i couldn´t bear hiding my beautiful V3 in clothes, not even leather!

Does anyone know the SAR level for the V3. Im guessing its quite low judging by the fact thats its metal and a Motorola.

The highest SAR value for this model phone when tested for use at the ear is 0.62 W/kg.
The RF seems to be pretty powerful, its got a full signal in places where my old phone (T68i) only had one bar. But it wont fry your ear, only your cheek. The antenna is located at the bottom of the phone (the bit you talk into). Also, the bottom part of the phone is covered in plastic (I guess metal would have just killed the reception).
It's interesting that Motorola has measure the SAR "when tested for use at the ear" rather than at the piece of flesh closest to the antenna.

Cheers for that matey. Think its quite good compared to the SAR level of most phones. The C500 is quite good, thats only 0.219 i think.

Does anyone know what the Orange branding is like on the V3? It’s the only thing putting me off upgrading. Can’t be any worse than the branding on the K700i! |

If you´re not already on contract i would advice you to go for the Voda one, for once they haven´t even touched the phone other than the SP/SIM-lock! Amazing but true!
