R3K 004 should be the latest firmware update for the S700i.
(news directly from Sony Ericsson)
It should also become available for update very soon at all official SE service points. (resellers with permission to flash)

guys, I've a Hong Kong firmware but when i went to an authorized SE dealer for an upgrade, they told me they only have China and my S700i is not compatible with it. Is this true?? |

hey!!.. i was wondering... welll... i was thinkin of getin the s700... but... i was thinkin of gettin it from HK... the point is... i am worried that the settings of the phone will be different in the UK from HK, does that mean that i wont be able to send pictures?? because the whole reason i am gettin a phone is so that i could send pics!!... PLZ telll me ASAP!!....

oh..... and if that phone doesnt work over in UK then wot shall i do???!! is there a way to get the settings onto the phone?? (the english UK settings that is!!) PLEASE PLEASE help.... i dont know much about anything so i is counting on you guys to help me out!!

Yes I do !!
The automatic feature is not automatic at all !
so i turned off SIM lock and turned ON Phone lock so i don't have to type both codes !

With the new firmware R3K is the video length improved to from 1 (1-2 minutes) to 10 MB (15-30 minutes) !!! |

i have ask it to the authorized SE service based in Ankara / Turkey, and they say that some of users have updated their S700i 's to R3K. |
