@ Dekesh
Yes, I got a reply, and no, they haven't got the option, but said they'd take it into consideration in a future release. I only got the reply 2 days ago, and I forgot to post...
Well, we can only hope...

Ive accessed HTML sites through GPRS on my O2 online and thats a very old Genie sim. I also could access HTML pages on GPRS using a new o2 Online sim that had no credit on (until 2 days ago)

Wow.. This thread was a while back...
@ Fiona
Did you get the SIM card? You should definitely have it by now, I don't know why you wouldn't...

@sul05
did u make sure that the port on the wap account was set to 8080 instead of 9201 and also i get activation rejected quite a lot but jus keep on trying or restart the phone and it should eventually work.sometimes it takes a few tries and sometimes it takes 10-15 times so just keep trying.it does work

Make sure you have set the proxy settings WITHIN opera, not just in control panel. It should then work...

@Sul05 Builtin internet browser can take proxy settings from internet configuration, but opera can't. So you have to make proxy settings in opera. You don't need to do settings for builtin browser. And this free gprs stuff is not just for Wap sites, for every site, but you can not use proxies. |

Yes, this hsould work for all sites, but I don't know why it's not working for you... I'm sorry, but I'm out of options. Make sure you've input ALL the settings exactly as said at the beginning (read the bit at the end of the settings allowing free GPRS)

Well, actually, yes you can. And in-fact, most of my posts are from my p800 on free gprs.
Basically, as long as you can enter your details on the same page as the reply, you can post. You can also check your PMs, by clicking "menu" at the top, then Private messages, then it'll ask for your logins, and it will then display your PMs. However, you will be "logged out" as soon as you navigate away from that page. It's a nuisance, but it's better than nothing.
