Well, I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on following iamcruchie's guide and I'm going to use the following files:
In the first step:
De-customise firmware: K700_Decustomize_Firmware.K7S
In the next step:
Firmware: K700_FIRMWARE_ZONE_1_R2L001.K7S
Customisation file: K700_EU5_R2L001.k7c
Language pack: K700_Lang_Pack_EU5_R2L001.K7L
However, I'm a little confused because in the "LANGUAGE PACKS DESCRIPTION AND PROCEDURE.DOC" from the Download Area of TOTAL Multiserver it doesn't mention the K7C file (customisation file), so I'm unsure whether this is needed or not.
Can anyone confirm?

Okay, I'm not sure if this was mentioned before... but if I download the decustomize firmware, that's all I would need, correct? Because once I download that, I'll be able to use SE's Online Update Service.. or so I would think. Is this the right way to do it? As I said before, I only have one credit, and to my understanding if I download the Decustomization Firmware and then the latest R2AA Firmware (as the guide suggests) that would take two credits...

As far as I can see, flashing with the de-customise f/w doesnt use a credit (so the guide says). My cable didn't arrive today, even after paying for next day before noon delivery - think it may have gone home, not work, so I can't test it.
I downloaded the same files as the post a couple up says.

jmbillings is correct. Flashing the decustomise firmware shouldn't use a credit according to FaceOffMobiles and www.totalserver.net
I asked FaceOffMobiles about only using the decustomise firmware too. Apparently just flashing the decustomise firmware isn't enough. You HAVE to continue onto the next step and flash the regular firmware and language files. (Still not sure about the customise firmware though)
Just follow iamcrunchies guide in the first post of this thread. He's done it successfully and details each step that is required - no more and no less!

You need to flash the decustomise firmware solely at first, it doesnt use a credit....
then flash all three INCLUDING the newer customise file!
i didnt have any guide when i was doing it so u have no excuses for f**king up

WE've all got our strengths and weaknesses, mines always being paying attention! lol. I did do it by your guide, which is virtually the same as totalservers, but thats not a dig, very grateful. But i got an error, and therefore needed a further update of the software, kindly supplied by totalserver, think im using 1.26. Its all going okay so far, but i'm still on the first firmware, next the language pack |

Just a little side note, what do the three files im putting on doing, firmware i presume is how the phone works etc, language, tahts my t9 etc and menu languages. So the customization files are what? What do they customize

Done It! Thanks for everyones help. What differences should i notice between the original firmware and the new one. I can see that the transaction between changing between the menu is much more fluent, and there is a new start up screensaver i think. |

me too, anyone know if it still works?
Also during the first debranding flash, do you leave only the battery in, phone off and sim out... Cheers

Me too!
That i've asked for credit!!!
I was thinking that the username and password are supplied by FaceOffMobile along with credit.
Can anyone tell us what is wrong?
Maybe the server is down?
Or I am that stupid!
Cheers!
