If you're getting stuck take a look back over my clues & what has been guessed. I've tried to make all my hints tricky so you could take them more than one way so perhaps you got the wrong way & eliminated the wrong words! 
That is a general comment & not aimed at anyone in particular but some of you should definately take note of it!
I just can't help giving hints  cryptic though they may often be! & some may be to throw you off  or they may not!
Odds (Letters correspond to certain people)
"A": 2-1 F
"B": 4-1
"C": 7-1
"D, E, F, G": 10-1
Outsiders: 18-1
But any could get it!

Well, as you said you don't swing the other way, and then said that was a clue, it's probably relating women? You said that the 2nd word had been guessed partially, when someone said Sam aswell as Sweating and Salt, so that's where Samantha, Salted and Sweaty come from.
I just can't think of anything anymore!
