yours seem to be the same as Johnstats

I wonder if mine is newer or just different and in what way exactly - this could account for some of the differences we experience

I think the customisation stuff is just the language packs and support for character sets.

Hmmm, wonder if there's any fixes for this yet? As it seems the voicemail settings option listed in the manual, is missing in the EU_2 customisation.

wow.. i haven't posted in awhile.. seems a lot of people have been having problems. i just read through this whole thread and here are some of my comments...

as far as battery life, i'm very happy with it. i listened to the radio on a 4hr train ride the entire time and it only used the first 2 slivers of the battery. also had 2 phonecalls during that trip as well. with normal use i get about 2-3 days and I use it for radio, mp3, video playback, camera, bluetooth and lots of phone calls (gotta make the women feel like they're wanted u know )

phone book problems .. i had none .

bluetooth restarting.. hasn't happened to me. my phone hasnt restarted at all .. i had the freezing problem before and i posted a solution to that.

it seems to me most of the people having problems in this thread are not really researching the problems before they report them.. or they're assuming it s a problem when it actually isn't and its just the way the phone was made in which case if you don't like it, they don't buy it. also, i noticed many of you got branded phones so that may be a cause for some of your problems as well. mine is an HK import, unbranded, unlocked and i use it exclusively and have had no really bothersome or troubling problems whatsoever.

I do have a question to see if anyone else has experiened this.. im not sure if its the way SE intended it or not .. anyways i have set my phone light to automatic so that the clock screen saver comes up after a short period of timeor when the keylock is turned on. I notice that sometimes the screensaver will just go away and it will return to the standby screen and stay there with the backlight turned off. I know my other SE phones would always stay in the clock screensaver until I pressed something so i noticed this. it's not a real huge issue .. comments are welcome

My friend has just got a K700i on voda and he hasnt been able to do anything with it at all. The phone seems to freeze after approx 10 seconds and he has to remove the battery to restart it.

He is able to navigate the menu and use the phone normally for about 10 seconds before the phone completely locks up.

Has anyone else experienced this or has he got a unique phone on his hands.

Any suggestions welcomed.

anything that serious should probably be returned for replacement without delay. I've heard of the occasional lag but not freezing as much as you are describing

Talked to a Telia stores-guy the other day and the battery meter issue came up. He has charged his K700 8 times and the meter seems to "calibrate" itself after each charge. What He meant was that the meter gets more and more accurate with each charge. He also gets 4 days (24 hours) out of the phone now.
Could it be that the K was intended to have a 670mA battery at first and they changed to 700mA? I mean, like. .the meter is based on a 670 battery and so assume that the battery is empty when in fact (I do at least) get another half day minimum of use? Im out in deep water here, I know, but itīs just a thought..
Cheers!
PS: other than the in-accurate battery-meter i havenīt had any problems so far with the mighty little 'K' except it froze once while browsing the camera effects (frames) and i had to remove battery.

no but I do have a problem where outlook contacts with company name but not personal name appear as "no name" at the end of the phonebook

I have to go through and put the company name into the personal name field in outlook and resync sometime soon
