Hi everyone!
I'm clearly impressed by my k700i. The only think i was disappointed abt was with the midi synthesizer as it was horrid (at least better than nokias) as compared to previous models like T630, T610, T300.. which used a yahama synthesizer- if i'm not wrong. I hope in tt later firmwares would allow setting .aac & .mp4 as ringtones although you can play those formats in media player. |

hello! i've been using my k700i for less than a month now. i'm really happy with this phone, having upgraded from my t610... here are some of my comments:
*** signal-wise, it's better than the t610... way better...
*** camera was good, but video recording can't seem to record sounds clearly...
*** the radio and media player works fine, although i want to suggest that the headset be able to switch radio stations (if in radio mode) or to move to the next audio (if in media player mode) by pressing the headset button...
***i have no problems with my "2" key, but my "5" key is kind of wobbly...
*** the connector cover in the bottom looks nice, but it somehow annoys me; i can't use my stock DSS-20 with it...
*** FMA (Float's Mobile Agent) works well with this phone too, much like the t610, although it's somewhat buggy (it loses connection once in a while, and if i try to reconnect, FMA hangs up)...
*** as for the remote control function, i have yet to discover how to use it with my PC that has a bluetooth adapter...
i'm very satisfied with this phone; even though the battery performs "below average" due to the vivid screen, i can live with it...

Very comprehensive review, in regards to the 4x zoom, i saw the resolution it comes out at but is the quality comparable to a digital camera. All the cells these days now say, 1.2 MP and what not but what i want to really know is does it look good or not? When you upload does it look aight or when you print off it. |

Have had the K700i for 2 weeks and really like this phone,I bought it for £90 with trade-in plus had a bluetooth headset free indside.
I really like the Sony Ericsson UI and have previously had the A2618s and T300 models.
My phone has the R2AE033 firmware and seems stable.

K700 was *not* a cybershot phone. It feature 'quickshare'!
