Pretty much knew, it but yeah. Its not the greatest of designs, but extremely well done for a hoax. Major props to the guy who did it, has some serious talent.
Anyway, I do believe Sony are making a huge mistake with respect to their Support for older smartphone models and the fact they're flooding the market with a billion phones. I hope for their sake they purify their brand over the next few years and focus on mid-high end smartphones rather than the whole spectrum.
Also goddamn, the Xperia S is a fine-looking phone....if only it were thinner (and had a smaller bezel), because then it would have been stunning. |

Why should Sony still be updating 18months after phone release? They have stable and good ICS running on their 2011 lineup and everybody who has 1 paid for 1 phone and not a lifetime of upgrades. And for us here i am surprised that anyone who has made the effort to find and participate in this forum still wants to be seen with a 2011 phone in 2013.... 
I am sure it also has something to do with that the 2011 linup was created to 100% by SE. And whatever sony is planing on for 2013 has nothing to do with "that old stuff" anymore. I seriously hope they dont waste more resources than they need to on anything from the SE area and start focusing on future.... 
It really seems like they are getting their hardware game together for 2013 and will be at least on par with the big players, and I am now wishing for them to focus on software. Meaning i want from Sony an environment similar to Apples...(of course without their restrictions  ) with that I mean all in one online services, devices which communicate with each other and offer unique features other manufacturers cannot.
The manufactureres in future will not be succesful because of their hardware. Anyone can offer the highest res. screens and fastest processors. Design is a factor but not a deciding one.
I would love to know if sony is planning any real new features on the software side... Anybody any rumours on that????

I think 10.6 mm from factor is reasonable fine and provide real nice grip, especially compare to those anorexia smartphones today.

This is what i understood
Xperia T,TX and V will get 4.1[JB] in mid-Q1 2013 FEB+
and Xperia S, Xperia acro S, Xperia ion, Xperia P, Xperia go[Obviously U,Sola will also be getting as they have same SPEC as go] will be announced shortly so i am guessing sometime in NOV like everybody is saying example 2011 Arc S ICSwhich got ICS earlier than Xperia S if i am not wrong.
