Passed by my O2 store local today on work lunch break. Had a look,says all sold out. But my god it looks so boring  Someone has put it in another language  I also think the iphone's screen looks a touch pale

Looks better in white just seems abit odd now

 actually they were stuck down to the bench couldn't see the back. I was looking at some Sony phones wanted to see Xperia T and seen the iPhone

The 3GS is now discontinued so I read. The iPhones in O2 store were literally clamped

Lifespan but I guess there floating about on
Knock off sites like eBay cheap
Next in line will be the iPhone 4
That's due for the chop when 5S
Arrives next Sept-Oct next year

Im surprised those clamps on the phones dont damage the weak aluminium of the phones.
Im also surprised people still steal phones since when they are stolen their IMEI numbers become blocked anyway. So the phones are useless unless sold in a country that does not block IMEI numbers where usually reselling such phones gives poor returns anyway for the risks involved.
@ Bonovox - i saw that link too, people are disappointed in iOS6 compared to before. I dont know any personally as most iPhone owners i do know are quite ignorant to the differences brought, including my own sister.
I was rather entertained today when i read on GSM arena that Apple has apologised for their poor maps service. Like ive said a couple of times now, i think this year will be Apple's last year of significant growth. Google on the other hand keep going from strenght to strength. They've so much more inspiration than Apple and keep inventing more new services we've not really seen before or havent been implemented properly by people before.

Tested the sound trough headphones last night.. not so good. The Nokia 808 produces much better sound overall.
I tested both with high end in-ear phones with triple armature driver, very sensitive, perfect for testing sound.

the headphones that come in the package with the iphone 5, are crap.
Low light imaging seems to be way off the 808 mark, but it does do well against most other smartphones, I assume.. I will test it against the N8 these days.
Both in auto mode.. It gets worse if you start playing with the available settings on the 41Mpix device.
also, as you can see from the pictures above, and this:
the lens on the iPhone 5 is not as wide..
Overall, the phone works very well. Its way overpowered.. iOS 6 can't even get 20% load out of the system. But everything works as it should. |

But my 4S with iOS 6 is fine
Sure apple will sort that out in next update

I always preferred Sony for music quality. When I once had an iPod touch and the iPhone 4 I thought both even with better headphones never sounded very good. As for camera nothing touches the 808 as I seen with Fbloise photos today he shared with me on Face Book. He has contacts within Nokia and has been given a Pureview for two weeks. So the new Apple headphones are crap?? @etaab Apple saying sorry is a rare occurrence. Someone posted a funny photo online which said Apple Maps Tech Development Team. But it was the cast of Lost

Well.. honestly my perception of "good headphones" is, to say the least, obscured. I am a bit of a.. audiophile, so in the past 10 years I've been using high quality headphones (shure, westone, etc.) and I haven't really tested any of the low end phones in a LONG time, so when I put the new iphone ones on, it blew me away how bad they were.. but they might not be, i don't know i tested them against my worst pair, which is a head-direct RE0, and they still sucked.
I found the EQs btw.. they are under settings>music>eq Played around with them.. the 808 still sounds better, it has more depth, better dynamic range, deeper bass.. the iphone sound "cleaner" in a sense, but almost anemic compared to the 808. That dolby headphone algorithm really works well on the Finish product, i am not sure what it is exactly, but it works.
also, after reading the GSMarena review of the iPhone.. they tested the screen outdoor, and on their chart there is only one screen better than the iPhone 5 .. so I tested them, and I can confirm, the iphone 5 is very good under direct sunlight .

That's good screen on Pureview then. Nokia displays have been some of the best lately especially Clear Black on say the Lumia 800. And Nokia Symbian phones have great music quality generally.
