I contacted Sony Mobile regarding the availability, they said I have to contact the regional Sony Mobile for regional specific release and cost... so I contacted Sony Mobile Middle East and she said she doesn't know this information currently but she will contact me after an hour... after 3 hours she contacted me that I have to contact our local dealer Fakhro Electronics regarding availability and pricing... but at that time I already contacted them and they don't have any idea at all depends on How Sony Mobile manage the shipments... and cost will depend on final cost for the region which they don't know yet ( Will arrive along with the shipment ). but he suspected it will arrive later this month or early next month...
Personally I don't trust them, when Xperia arc launched, they kept saying after one week, after two weeks and next month but they didn't have it till after 6 months !!, it was launched in March and they didn't have it till September !!
They just don't know but just give us time to wait and keeps you waiting while they don't know really when they will have it !!
I think you could try with mordern electronics? They are the official dealer in saudi arabia. But if sony themselves do not know about it, then I highly doubt they will know. Instead you could try axiom, or m2telecom.net . m2 gets it imported from china or other asian countries, so they might get it before sony releases. Let me know if you do get any info.

Globally the T/TX should be available by mid October. At least that's the info I have. Of course China already has it, Taiwan and Hong kong will follow and then UK/parts of Europe. In October rest of Asia, Australia, and Middle East.
Of ffs. I've had the Sony Shop page open on my desktop since Tuesday, listed the Galaxy S3 given as an upgrade on eBay and my battery on the X10 is giving me less than 2hrs run time. Now i must wait till close to October. Of course, i do have bigger things to worry about yet....

So... I have the choice..
T
--or--
TX
What do I do?
Point of Interest for the discussion. I can get a TX tomorrow if I wanted but I'd have to wait a bit longer for T.

Personally i like the TX more than the T. TX looks lot better. Again, it's subjective of course. I know a few people here like the T more. And anyway, there is no difference other than that between the two. So I'd say get the TX tomorrow and give us a detailed reviews and pics !!!

@ ricky_D .. TX looks better imo. but it has a slightly smaller battery but it is removable. That is something to consider. If that makes no difference for you, then i'd go with the TX cause you can get it NOW

for the final straight on photo, the T seems to have overblown contrast. That could be for any number of reasons and is hard to really say without having both in front of me at the same time.
Overall, it looks like it gives the SAMOLED a run for its money

Sony make the best displays on the market imo. And Motorola & Nokia too. Samsung they are way too over saturated with horrible blue tint on whites
