Sorry, but I'm just a fan of those two photos and had to quote them.

Very nice snaps.
And putting a link to the originals would be much appreciated..

At 1/15s - 400 ISO, and 1/8s - 450 ISO, these are awesome results!!

It's clear now with such scenes better to go with automode and some adjustments rather than the night mode... As there is no need for any of the extra brightening that comes with that mode..

And one major drawback of the nightscene with the N8 is the horrible white balance.. And I can see you had to adjust the WB by those last two night scenes..

But how did you manage to lower the ISO to 247 and keep the SS at 1/5 s?
Just played with the ISO directly or the EV?

Still, both of those pics are clearly under-exposed.. The second one has a creative touch with that outcome though.. As to the first, not so.

And needless to say all the other shots you posted are of high creativity and high quality to say the least.
Keep it up..

@ Vit

I think we should go by etaab's suggestion of either resizing the photos if directly posted or just post links to the originals..

Because other than that some users would have troubles loading such heavily loaded pages on their PCs, the pages themselves could get overloaded and mal-function..

Most of the photos you just posted aren't showing and worse are being tumbnailed at their full size which make us do some heavy scrolling to get to other posts!

I suggest either repost them resized or post small imageshack thumbnails linking to the originals.

@false_morel thank you, here are the original photos.

For both pictures if i remember correctly i put the iso medium, increase contrast and reduce brightness.

I basically went with full automatic settings for all the pictures except the first, which i jumped the EV way up too high.

Yes, even the blind could sense the over-exposure in the first picture.
But not a problem..

It's the other photos which are somehow distrubing!
If you went with full automatic, this is a bit disappointing from the N8!

Here:

And the highlights in the skies shouldn't have been clipped that much as well!

I know these are tricky shots, but I think the N8 should have delivered better dynamic range! Correct me if I'm wrong.

Great pics here & I see nothing wrong with the lowlight quality of the N8 Though also I agree with etaab about resizing photos even though I have a Windows 7 Quad Core pc I do use a 3UK modem for internet & it takes ages for all the photos to load when full size but at the same time it ruins the quality

Bono, there are some photos not showing.

And good to have you back in the N8's club.

Though I must admit, you're killing me with those clear daylight photos!
Why can't I get those waethers too? We are supposed to live on the same horizontal position, aren't we?
