Not getting into much details about what Eldar said, the truth is he's bored with , just like pretty much 99% of mobile users. I'm bored with too, that's why I don't blame him. It's not a bad thing that he's bitching about , maybe that way they'll do something actually worth the price.
Oh surely its only 1% of people that give a crap about SE and still buy their products no matter how much hate is for them. |

Why bother arguing with GUCCI? The guy just loves to be technical about everything. This is not an 'anything VS Nokia N-series' thread. Adorable feat mate, but we're talking about Eldar here. Not that I think Eldar's current opinions are worth discussing after all... |

Ye think what you want gtr im just answering se_love and dude, as far as NOKIA go they are almost dead to me, the Nseries died with the N96, so are SE. If the Palm Pre is at a good price at this time next year il gladly leave s60.

Is it so hard to see that Eldar will keep criticizing SE until they become the cutting edge leader that he used to see them as? Right now SE is a mere follower, and rarely touching the industries leading specs at that, let alone alone come up with something innovative and useful which is at the end of the pole from the amazing shake control. I'm happy with what SE is currently offering through Aino and Satio but by no means am I saying they're enough for this favourite brand of mine which is probably what Eldar feels too.

@mode- Theres a difference between hating a product and disliking it. It doesnt matter if we or any other guy hates something. It hardly influences anyone. But eldar is a reviewer in one of the best review sites on the internet. Spreading negativity against a product is bound to affect sales thus putting SE into a much greater slump than it actually is. This is why i feel that if any reviewer is biased should be refrained from writing on a company or review their products, let alone write an article bashing the company. |

he is completely insane, unfortunately
from the blog:
Q: Eldar, what is 13 million dollars for Sony-Ericsson, compared to your reputation for you?
A: and what to my reputation has happened again? 13 million is the beginning. they've already lost a lot, yet to lose a lot. it is gratifying that there is my contribution to this loss.

sorry... but if this is what Eldar think then cutting edge his foot.
from day 1 when SE formed they just pick up Ericsson T68i and make it be T68s
then they have to cancel T700 which is like a mere upgrade to one of the sony classic flip phone (model number forgotten)
even t610 or even k750 is on pure technology point of view isn't really breathtaking.
there's wasn't any cutting edge in SE... he just giving you all this image for the past few yrs or recently he keep on trying to claim SE used to be cutting edge just tht he can critic them for no reason. |

Chaps, you can bash Eldar as much as you like. The fact of the matter remains: SE is basically on 'life support'. Ericsson is not interested anymore and Sony are having their own troubles ! In a few weeks, SE will release the 2Q financial results and take it from me: that's ways more important than what Eldar says. Actually is even more important then the Aino's release date ! Forget about Nokia and s60 for now. You chaps are like the Titanic passagers: while the ship is sinking you are arguing which boat is fastest in the world at that time To talk about Nokia/s60 and SE in the same sentence, is like talking about a sick and skinny donkey pulling a cart and a f1 car powered by mercedes benz. For God's sake, if you really want to help, give the donkey some watter and forget about the f1 car for now.

I guess whether this sinking boat is going to impress us again is not an immediate event.
I recall SE took almost 2yrs to come out with T610.
I am not surprise we have to see a sad scene on q2. the key is to see whether they make progress every quarter. |
