@Rookwise
Thanks a lot for your information. I guess my R3BH002 FW is rather stable when I have had only ONE incident so far!
@ Stickroy
I was requested to take my C902 to the nearest SE Repair Centre to have free updates before I got my replacement. Do you happen to have one nearby? The guy at the electronics shop who sold me the C902 didn't advise updating myself though I am perfectly capable of downloading the FW myself. It so happened that I was still within my trial period & so I demanded a replacement instead of an update. My reason being the uncertainty of the cause of the instability.Was it a hardware problem or a FW one? |

Hi, regarding R3CA038:
Is it just my phone that restart it self everytime I try to open the bookmarks in the built in webbrowser ? After restarting, the wallpaper is gone until the main menu is opend and closed again. Updated to R3CA038 a few days ago from R3CA037. With the old firmware, this was never a problem.

Hi!
I Have the same problem with the phone restarting when I try to open the bookmarks. I discovered the same issue on previous updates too and found out that I had to delete them and put them in manually. Then it worked. It shouldn't be so though... |

When i had my C902 i had this happen. I found that if the bookmarks were on the memory card and you only backed up calender and contacts on the pc suite before updating. There would be no restarts.

Yeah, I believe there a fewer people interested because the C902 doesn't have so many problems like the K850i and earlier A2 platform phones did.

Just a tip, if you want to update the firmware without totally flashing the phone with SEUS and loosing all your settings, juste use the FlashOverTheAir option to upgrade it.
(Menu -> Settings -> Update Service).
It works for the C902

Yeah, it works good, but they are a few weeks behind when a new FW is released this way.

I have updated my Firmware to R3CA033, I am on O2 and Seus says now I have the current firmware, problem is though since I updated the handset, the screen is so dark even at 100% brightness and the resolution seems to be not as good as previous updates?
Is anyone else finding this? Why on earth would SE degrade the display on the handset if it has been done on purpose and is there any way I can reverse it? |

Flash over the air is not that good imho. My suggestion is using MPE (My Phone Explorer) to backup all phone data such as, files, contacts and messages... Then update the phone with SEUS.
MPE can be found here:

Does anyone know if updating C902 via SEUS will put it into CID53 or not? Thanks. |
