I would say good choice... Good luck with it
I have had 3 K850i's and they all were faulty... and I am very happy and content with the C902... does me well...

thank you very much pitzon....
on above pics... was C902 on the daylight white balance?
it seems it handled the red color acceptably. (better than the K850)...
good... i'm gonna get this as soon as possible.
Yes, all auto as i wrote. Think it was the easiest way to compare. Leave all adjustments out of it.
Would be easy to adjust both the phone and certainly the canon for other results... |

yes i guess so....
so the daylight white balance settings on the C902 will get even better colors against the all auto cannon powershot... i think.??
but even on auto... it's quite well.
btw... in my recent post on 2 pages back,, i was asking for the C902 on daylight WB not a daylight scene... .. but it is all OK with these good comparison shots.
thanks again pitzon. |

Yes, but you can change white balance on the canon also The phone wouldn“t have a chance
Plank pointed out that it was out in the sun where it was hard to get the right "reds" so thats why i tried this.
But i tried some different white balance also on the c902, but in my eyes they dont get better than in fully auto..
auto
daylight
cloudy
auto
daylight
cloudy
Hope this helps chombos1. Might be my screen though but i think the auto ones look quite nice regarding the reds. Not much different from "daylight" but the "cloudy" gives them a yellow tint.

you have been a great help pitzon...
thanks. |

some pretty good shots on here have really put my mind at rest. i have had the phone for about 3-4 weeks and was starting to ask myself WHY I had moved from my N82 to the C902. Well I am happy with the shots I have taken in my own garden and also what I have seen on here. It's all I want from a Camera phone, seriously, my pictures are only ever really viewed on my phone. I do put them all on the computer but never print them.
To the person that said this phone is expensive at £400....
I'd like to ask where you got this price from?
I paid £250 for mine on pay as you go from the 3 store the first week it came out. I have seen sim free versions on the bay starting from £220..
This is far from an expensive phone.

christ man.. i wrote ~ before which means something like that. (it cost everything from 350 euro to 480 euro here in Sweden...and Sweden is right now one of the cheapest Europeen countries about tech stuff)
cloudy looks much better then auto with c902 at LANDSCAPE/NATURE, but also sometimes on cars/buildings... use just daylight if you standing in the sun, otherwise cloudy (just a little tip)

That was myself. I had seen it in Vodafone store stating £400 next to it. Anyway when i looked in brochure it said £300 which was more likely the correct price. |

Hey, im not having a dig, was just curious as to where the phone is costing in the region of £350-£400 thats all.
If it were this price I would not have bought one, I think it would have been excessive, but for £250 I think it is a very good price.
Anyway lets get back to enjoying the pictures shall we ?
I really like the close of the Cat, looks brilliant. Colours are well produced and the detail is brilliant, could almost mistake this for a picture taken on a Digital Camera (I hope it wasn't!!)
I forgot to mention, the pictures I posted further up the page were taken on the Original Firmware. I can't get the new firmware yet as I am on 3, who take a long time to release any firmware!! |

Don't worry ianeb, the close was taken with the C902, latest firmware, macro mode, EV -0,3, daylight white balance.
It's a very gorgeous take...absolutely beautiful!!!! |

I wonder if someone have tried using MXE-60 onto the C902 for better nightshots. will it work anyway?

Why do you also get the feeling that SE wont even bother to release a xenon flash add on for the A200 platform. |
