@plank
the fact that you think cyber shot actually means something sums up your utter lack of knowledge. you're nothing but a slave to sony ericsson.

???? must i explain everything in detailed.

i dosent mean that, i mean that LG have less knowledge about cell phone camera-technique... and what i meant about the cybershoot family....is there development from T610 and forward, (first cell phone in the world with a intregate camera for example...and so on).

think have proved long long time ago that they have awesome knowledge about cell phone camera-technique)

great contrast and very nice pixel quality on Secret's shots. for sure camera by Samsung

proved long long time ago that they have awesome knowledge about cell phone camera-technique)

they have? they had! hello... Earth to Plank! is anybody out there?
was player #1 in cameraphones when they released K750 and K800 based on MCB chips by Sony. right now & Cyber-shot brand in phones doesn't mean anything. other manufacturers don't use cheap tricks like Cyber-shot labels for better selling their phones. why many SE phones are equipped in Samsung cameras, not in MCB by Sony? why Plank? do you have any explanation on this? where is "awesome knowledge"?

SE C902 camera (by Samsung) is also used in Samsung U900 (in other models too? why not). and now... if this Samsung camera was used in LG Secret then I have only one thing to say... LG programmers, creators of image processing are geniuses

I was exploring many SE camera drivers, I found some silly bugs, big mess in code, solutions based on copy&paste into template. SE developers are good? sorry but first: don't use word "good", second: use word "developers" only in quotes and with ";)" emoticon

I don't want to be rude for but something wrong happened to them in last 2 years

Secret's shots are clearer in my opinion, but I like the colors of the K850 more... The Secret's pictures look some kind of "purpley" to me

I agree with you!
Love or hate me...

Nokia 5120 -> Nokia 6120 -> SE T200 -> Motorola V800 -> SE W800 (stay with my wife) - > SE K800 (stay with my mom) -> Nokia N82 Silver -> Nokia N82 Black Edition - Firmware v30.0.019 -> What is the next??.

I don’t upgrade because with this old firmware i surely don’t have BROD...and i know that BROD come at random with the last firmware.
Each of us has an own preference, if i want better and more real colors i shot with the Secret (look at the colors of the stone in the water)

Even with cloudy K850 can’t show real colors, this is the first big problem, you can see the others in real size.

he he. how many Secrets vs K850 pics have you taken ??????

ps. Perfect, can you take some landscape pics with cloudy or daylight with both Secret and K850. (then we really going to see some great colors by K850)

pss. just a little tip about the last picture with K850 (cloudy + auto). (use document on close up pictures, gets MUCH sharper..you see it clearly in 100% crop later).

I have taken (and posted) very less pics in comparison to you plank, and you are not sure yet... there’s no way that K850 could be better, landscape, cloudy, document, no way...

the Secret shots are clearly better. about the only plus i see for the k850 is that it seems to have better depth of field.

@perfect
have you had a chance to compare depth of field between both phones? it might be nice to compare shots with optimum settings on both phones too - that'd be pretty cool. for example on the k850 shot above, if you used document mode and SPOT focus, you may have gotten better results. not sure what settings the Secret has.

my 2 cents.
