I have a question now. Does this phone have a fastport? I know it has a microUSB, as shown in the official picture (and one of the spy pics above):

i guessed ur under t-mobile since u said u used m600i which is incompatible under att. ya i use att and i use w610i...do u hv any idea on wat band t-mo will roll out its 3g ? att rocks excepts for its 850 band which i dont like:(
It's a little unclear to me, anyway, but I think they'll be using 1700/2100 bands. There are already a few T-Mob phones out with 1700 compatibliity, but T-Mob is having issues with the US Gov't getting the switch flipped for customer access.
I've also read some things about T-Mob supposedly testing 3g services on 1900 band, but nothing about them actually preparing to use that band with customers. So I'm not entirely sure, but I think 1700/2100.

FWIW, I just got a press invite to an X1-related press conference with SE North America for Monday:
Please join Sony Ericsson North America for a web conference at 11:00 a.m. EST, Monday, February 11. Sony Ericsson North America executives will provide you with an inside look at what this announcement means for the mobile industry from.
Nothing new, really, in this email except for this confirmation for those of us in my part of the world:
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X1 will be available to US consumers in the second half of 2008. |

too solid & boxy looking. no iphone like design inspiration at work here. p990i was my last ever SE phone, still getting over that experience. |
