the betas are there to test compression (file sizes without crashing).
also i can read/mod any .dat file,
cam_fw_upgrade.dat is very it's like a unfinished camdriver missing loads of properties,
every seq_set_prop_ is blank but it has a power on sequence, buffer sizes sup_properties, and macros, the rest of it looks like code to upgrade a previous camdriver or something it's very very werid i've never seen it before.
camdriver01 still exits in some situations but I think it is not as often as with the 4.7 driver. I will also try camdriver02 and write here. |

here is my video test of the 4.75 driver (version #)
I made videos in good climatic conditions:
outdoor with much sun face to me (13 fps...), bad quality, strange:
Don't know why there is such a difference between quality, maybe the sun face to the cam in first case.
that was strange, coz i made video recording in bright sunlight too and i can get more frame rate than you..the sun also face to the cam too.
this is my first sample --> daylight, focus = infinity
minimum = 10 fps
maximum = 22,78 fps
average = 20,98 fps
download here
2nd sample --> daylight, focus = macro
minimum = 10 fps
maximum = 27,78 fps
average = 20,98 fps
download here

I used version2 of the camdriver01... According to everybody here version1 seems to give better results (videos, nightshots,..).
So I will test version1 |

camdriver01 crashes always when shooting bad comprimable scenes (structures as grass, wall etc).
I will try 02 today or tommorrow.

I very appreciate this "noise" because it preserves much more details in photos than if destructive noise reduction is applied and photos then also looks more "natural" for me. This is important advantage for me against K800i which I used to have too.
See grass photo with noise reduction applied
taken with N95 (extreme example)

NUMBER1, it is possible to add contrast to photos? They are very better when I use auto contrast in some graphic editor...

yes i can add contrast but i'm sure what effect it will have on the k800 it gives real colours but causes overexposure, the k800i problem isn't anything to do with noise reduction it's that the bilinear filter is on all the time. |
