since others also can confirm there is a hissin sound
i think it was due to the fact that u increase the clarity of the acoustic
if im not wrong
its somethin like the old cassette versus the cd format
the cd no hissin sound
but the cassette had a faint hissin sound
i think it was due to the
cassette havin better sound quality compared to the cd
its warmer n richer
while the cd is not
it goes somethin like that |

sometimes when a song stops n a new song plays
there will b some silence
at those times there are some hissin sounds
some noise at there
when i revert back to version 1.1 those sounds arent there
i think version2 megabass only got those problems
or mayb its the phone itself
havin been modded so extensively
as saw on my siggie at sense
i modded quite extensively

V1.1 is perfect for me.... but can be something todo with the megabass freq range...
I think I have also changed some resistor values.
Gonna check it! One of them is the responsible for the hissing!

goodluck on your new mod. i know it will be a great one. one of the reason too that i wanted to mix the acoustics is because i believe, each individual has his/her own liking in sounds. some like it mellow, some like it with more bass,some like it loud, some like it very loud. hehe. with that in mind, we can give users selections or options on what acoustic they could choose. ^-^

Hmmm can be. I know some files get the "created" date when I extract them, like a program...
I think xaero, asah and me have based phf on k800. farfields some on k800 and some on w880, and now on W850.
My pc is just a mess with all this files ^^
sometimes I got lost!
But the truth it doesnt matter the date of creation [this is SE creation time], you have reset the files just copying orig settings =]

As I said to norbi upthere...
I have changed bass freq compensation, and I think some resistor values, to be louder.
So there MUST be something on one of this changes... or both combined.
You know something really pain in the ass is that there are so many possibility of diff combinations... that drives you mad!
Sometimes I just change one value... and it changes nothing.. than I change something else also.. and then it changes everything
acoustics are so hard to mod =\\
But sure I'm gonna eliminate that hiss

you heard them on HPM70?
I couldn't!
I think I'm with sme hearing problems ^^

volume in calling too much high I must lower, than file I must replace more low for having a volume in calling fix ?fm acoustic radio ok perfect?complimets great acoustic pedrops

I have a rather nice stereo here that I can hookup to my phone for some real good sound quality. I would like to test the beta if I can be of any assistance. The following would really help :
- Some Mp3's where you think there might be a problem (or some song names)
- Some details on what to listen to
I have a lot of music already on my phone in high quality and I'm familair with most of the songs but It would help greatly if you could give some pointers on what i need to listen to.

The loudness of the earpiece is very good. I think u shouldn't mess with that. Everyone likes loud music (and those that don't, should lower it). Ok maybe the ultramegabass wasn't a good idea. (i thought it would be like the k750i megabass, with r1ca021 or whatever was before the shity r1db002). Also i imagined that someone would create an acoustic pack, where manual EQ
usage is improoved, adding 2 bars rather than 1 (so u'd have full bass at half of column, and if u need, u can add more - and full bass column = 200% bass. And this applyes to other columns too)
but i dont think thats possible. I'm not a modder, so i dont know what i'm talking about (i only imagine) |

The volume is perfect clear and limpid only much high one like being able to edited the change handset 0_call of peter' s in order lowering the volume without to lose the quality...you can procedure like edited???

I don't thats possible yet... we don't have acess to the eq files...

just picked up my new k800i a few weeks ago to replace my old s700.
I installed the v1.1 a few days ago & am pretty happy with the output, its so nice having the alarm actually wake me up in particular
I picked up a nice set of nokia bh-604 bluetooth headphones the other day as I can't stand having anything in my ears apart from my fingers
I was just wondering if the volume can be increased to them
can I beta test the v2 too please?
btw I'm half deaf so theres no way I can tell if the chans are swapped around. hehe

the hissin i think is due to the acoustic being brighter
usin ur version2 megabass i can hear some sounds tat i cant hear before
ur megabass is nice
really can feel the bass
im still usin hpm70 to listen my songs
as to those that cant download

Wow, the call quality of 1.1 is very loud. Especially if you set the volume to max. It feels like as if you've activated the loud speaker.
Loved the others though. Just the call quality. Where can I get the original handset 0_call file? (K810 R6BC)

why would you want the original handset 0_call sound? can't you just lower the call volume a few levels? this way when you need the extra loudness, it will be there.
