Just upgraded from R2E to R6A012, has found it has stuffed a few things which were working fine.
1) MMS sendin. When prompted to enter a destination number or email address. I can't press the option button to get the menu where I can choose phone book. When I select "send message" at the end of the composing page. I get the page of "To:" and "Number:". I have to push the joy stick to left to get the meny of "1)Phone Book 2)E-mail address 3)SIM entries 4)Unsaved nos."
2) MMS Can't be sent successfully. When the progress indicator shows the MMS is being sent, and has reached the far right end. The indicator just stops there and not going anywhere, then gave me the error msg saying that msg wasn't sent and savd in the Unsent folder
Anyone out of you has noticed similar thing?

Is the new software really faster than the previous one ( like r2, r3..) even when using the theme other than " classic " ?
and also.. is the ringtone composer getting more responsive than b4..? |

no, it's not available... it was available on the server as a test version for a few days, but was later removed by ... Those servicepoints that upgrade with R7A uses the testversion and downloaded the firmware before it was removed

it's a full version... but it has not been offically released... before releases firmware they test it, and for some reasons one of these test versions was available for all servicepoints during a few days. |

Rustproff. Try the CPW service center in Gt Chappel Street (just off Oxford Street) If they have it they will do it in 1-2 hours- just walk in (I had my T39m f/w upgraded last week) |

The sms alerts are still the same but i have noticed it is a fair bit louder, and as i said on a diff thread when i rung SE UK i asked about any future changes to the sms alert option of using a ringtone and was told this is being investigated. :-)

Cool I really gotta get my t68i done now cos the text alert was one thing that pisses me off as it is too quiet!
Another plus for me is it will make the extra features of my MCA25 work
Hopefully I can find the SE Service centre in Brighton. I only know the approximate location but hey ill have to go for a walk!

Hey Guys
I've just got the new R6A012 Firmware and i found some bugfixes.
- GPRS always get's Connection (R2E had some gprs failures)
- In all menu's you can press up to go to the last option
- Dutch language is beter
- Support of lager wap-sites
- Same speed of menu's when phone is really full
That's what i found till now.
Does anyone know's wat the improvement's are with R7...
