@apanjwani: you've made it quite clear how blown away you are by the P1 Now how about some specific objective comments on particular aspects of the device please?

The US price is cheap. It is because the phone is not for US. No 850, No EDGE and NO US compatible 3G. 30 to 40 kbps is too slow for browsing.

Maybe a silly question but : does P1 have profiles, like most SE non-smartphone models ? I mean, you can switch from "home" profile to "office" profile, for example, and that affects your volume settings, silent mode, ringtone, etc.

Would be nice if it has it, i find it quite practical on my K750i...

No, like all SE smartphones for some reason profiles are not there...you can just turn it on silence....

...or flight mode, but no customisable profiles like other SE phones.

for earlier P series you could use magic profiles but so far I'm sure its not available for UIQ3

it will be interesting to compare side by side with my M600 before I finally sell the m600, which is probably one of the longest I have ever owned and used a single phone since the T68

Any word on screen protectors yet? I take it that the screen size is different to the M600.

I sooooo agree......Fed ex is the best shipper...always on time and always safe. UPS and DHL don't do well when it comes to being on time.
