here's some more low light goodness from the w810. you can find originals here: http://picasaweb.google.com/c[....]6/LowLight?authkey=SimcoITEWjU
still waiting on your full size shots plank!
these were taken last night:
1/5s
here's a nice comparison: 1/4s vs 0.6s
another comparison: 0.8s vs 4s. it was really, really dark as you can see from the 2 different exposures

mostly all night pics by w810 becomes to blurry. (the two first pictures is way to blurry, looks really bad, there i KNOW K850 had manage it better.(k850 is very good when it comes to many small lights).
the two last pics is taken with a strong light source and shoot on a close distance.....i doubt that can be called real "low light" condition). only decent pic is the middle one.
(and like i have said some time now)....there is only ONE cell phone who manage good night/low light pictures, and thats i-mobile 902, (everything else looks cheap).
THIS IS REAL LOW LIGHT QUALITY
but even K850 can take good night pics. thanks to don juan

plank, do you think before you post comments? the first 2 pics are somewhat blurry b/c the ferris wheel is turning. do you understand motion blur happens b/c of slow exposure! go read up on some articles before making stupid comments. and if you know k850 manages better than post some proof from your k850 - full size proofs!
the last 2 pics posted with strong light source? again, do you understand anything in photography? did you see what i wrote, one of the pics has 4 second shutter speed. do you understand what that means? if you could comprehend what that means, you would equate that to really, really low light source!!!!!!!!! i can't believe i have to explain this to you. you must be really really thick in the head dude.
and about the i-902, yes we all know it has the best camera for low light pics ... however, if you could actually read, you would see the topic says something about SE phones. is i-902 an SE phone?!?!?! so why do you keep bringing it up? we are comparing SE phones here.
don't post pics that don't belong to you. post pics you have taken and can show full size. and please think before writing stupid comments. the whole world is reading this stuff!

so ?
they still looks bad. (a good cell phone camera can get sharp pics on a spinning wheel even its dark background. the wheel itself lights up really strong ! just look at some i-mobile 902 or even k800/k810/k850 pics)
i bought my w810 nearlly two years ago, i have use it many many times, i have never been satisfield with some night pics with that phone. way to blurry........

Cronos, i agree with you, and we can compare us without insulting (i know you want/try to reason with him about this)
Plank, i respect your opinion, BUT:
You judge W810 pics and you say:
“the two first pictures is way to blurry, looks really bad, there i KNOW K850 had manage it better.(k850 is very good when it comes to many small lights”
After you mention the i-mobile, and then you write:
“THIS IS REAL LOW LIGHT QUALITY” and you post some pics that don’t come from K850...(and it’s not enough to say “no, they come from K850” without any proof/real size)
They are from i-mobile? You haven’t specify it...
My thought is: if this thread has been entitled “post your pictures (low light and night shots only) taken with your Sony Ericsson”, WHY DON’T YOU POST YOUR PICTURES (LOW LIGHT AND NIGHT SHOTS ONLY) TAKEN WITH YOUR SONY ERICSSON?
In this way you can demonstrate that “YOU KNOW K850 had manage it better.(k850 is very good when it comes to many small lights”...it’s way better that to do BLABLABLA...
Right?

And the object dont move... so is easy take with twinight mode... I wanna see night shot with object moving.
Love or hate me...  Nokia 5120 -> Nokia 6120 -> SE T200 -> Motorola V800 -> SE W800 (stay with my wife) - > SE K800 (stay with my mom) -> Nokia N82 Silver -> Nokia N82 Black Edition - Firmware v30.0.019 -> What is the next??. |

what about this pic, took it in quite low lightness, (and please dont start; "oohh its way to bright"......)
think its sharp for a indoor picture at that distance, (k850, no flash, no edit)

In my opinion: oohh its way to bright...
With low light i don’t intend this...
Low light is similar to the example that puestadelsol has posted, do you remember it?
