Anyone had any joy with the K800 camera drivers? I have tried playing with some of the settings. Strangely, when I changed the compression from 90 to 95 the pictures got smaller in size. There is also settings in the camera driver (in hex) to set the max and desired picture size. I thought if I increased this size there may be a chance that the image quality would improve. It's easy enough to figure what the settings are if you look through the driver. However, when I increase the max image size the camera resets when you take a photo. For those who are affraid to play around with the camera driver - there is a copy of the original driver on Se_nse. Alternatively, if you don't trust this and want to replace your driver with the original SE driver simply delete it from your phone and reflash with SEUS. It works, I've done it. It also overwrites modded Accoustic drivers with the original ones. So, there's some form of backups - but I wouldn't be deleting any file unless you are sure you can put something back if SEUS doesn't update it. |

I have an extracted FS (not my own handset but one of se-nse), I also have a stock menu.ml file, as well as acoustic and camera drivers. The only thing I was really worried about was getting my menu.ml file, since the generic one I have has different settings compared to the menu on my phone. My current menu comes from the wotan finalisation I did when I flashed with them recently, and it has no playnow (google instead).
Anyway if anyone needs a file from a stock FS (r1kc002 and rikg001, europe2), PM me.

Download the newest XS++ 1.7.7 (or something like that)
Then connect and in in flash menu press Customize. Then go back to settings and press BreakXS. And then press FSX then start FSX

I have never heard of that bug. And i have uploaded 5-7 diffrent menus.
If someone wants a K800/K790 (mostly k790 but they work for K800)

Remove Online Content links within File Manager:
You can remove the links at the top of each media folder in the file manager. These links mean there is one less item viewable on screen and if you don't use them they can go.

I haven't deleted or changed those things I want to back up first (for example my menu.ml file) that I can't get elsewhere. I want to backup customize.xml and menu.ml so that I can edit customize.cml for "suppress camera sound" setting, and change menu structure in menu.ml.
Change Startup and Shutdown graphics:
Start up and shutdown graphics can be any 240x320 image. I used jpg's, other's may be suported. The file must have a specific name with no file extension. Here are the locations of the graphics on your phone, and the namesthe file should have (note their are no file extensions on the files):

delete locked content:
Delete the content using FAR that you can't delete in File Manager. The locations of the various OEM content is as follows:

Music: /tpa/user/music, /tpa/user/music/ringtones
Pitcures: /tpa/user/picture
Video: /tpa/user/video
Theme: /tpa/user/theme

I flashed my phone (k790 Opt CID49, CID52) with Wotan. At first, every time it downloaded its files the MAIN file kept failing "integrity check". Then I manually downloaded the files from their website.
The flashing finished ok, but whenever I try to access the menu for the first time after restarting I get this error: "Errors occur in the menu.ml file. This may render the menu unusable" and only 5 icons in the menu appear. My phone is virtually a pretty paperweight.
I've emailed Wotan asking for another credit to flash it again, but no reply yet. Is there any way to fix my phone, either flashing it or fixing the menu.ml file for free?

Thank you max_wedge! It saved my phone! I also uploaded the acoustics from w880 and worked like a charm. Considerably louder and it doesn't distort! The modding spirit is back! XS++ rocks!
