more thing. When i receive messages the time is horribly wrong. From some operators the time of message is ok but from some operators the time is ahead.

is it something to do with my phone or the operators

my phone 'restarted to improve performance' three times in the space of a few hours yesterday.

not good, memory management has improved but with the leaking its still greatly flawed. Its fighting a losing battle from boot until SE can stop it.

I get 18mb on boot as i have ActiveSync running.

I get about 11mb with my main apps open after boot up (Contacts, Messaging, ActiveSync, Notes and the usual phone use) this drops to about 8mb after half a days use, and closing everything ends up with about 13-14mb!

RAM on startup seems to be sufficient now, most apps have been optimised to use less, Messaging is still too hungry though, if the leaks werent present and i could close all and get back to the 18mb mark there wouldnt be any problem!

@Spinz:

The time on the SMS is the local time sent from the user. So if you are getting SMS from a different time zone, you will see this reflected in your listing.

I am GMT+3, when I receive messages from my friend (GMT+4) they always appear "from the future"

Hope this helps!

the DB foilder whith just the latest update is 75mb

I tried deleting the DB folder when I had it stuck at 51% but I stopped doing that and sometime later it just worked, so I'm not sure that is the problem but if you think it is then perhaps just keep deleting the folder and starting the update again

I am trying delete/update delete/update for at least 9 hours with no success at all...always the firmware downolad from the internet jumps from 58% to 100% and the upgrade stucks at 47%
mine db folder is just about 60 megs

I dont know if it is just a coincidence, but after the upgrade when i receive messages from a different network provider , their message shows always one hour in front...

Strange coincidence....

@kleanthis: keep trying it'll work.... my update too jumped from 61% to 100% but it updated the firmware on my phone without a hitch. try to update the phone at off-peak hours when it's likely there are less people using the internet from your service provider.

AND the worst thing is that the nearest service point is miles away from me...
