It's not a major news flash, it's an uncut, unreleased press release that axxxr got sent from a contact.
I guess that the optical zoom could be like the built-in type that Minolta Dimage cameras has had for ages..
Could it be that the mentioning of swivel should be cut? That this isn't a swivel? |

prices of SE phones are not that solid, they drop greatly after 5/6 months
for example a motorola can have a steady price for quite a while, i don't know why this is.
but yes, k800 prices will drop which isn't bad is it

@ himlims_nl,
too true, just look at the P990I, the flagship model that's divebombed in price. Not that I'm complaining as I got it for free as a result
@ 786KBR,
No idea if they'll do it with HSPDA, I doubt it as it's part of the 3G tech I.E. 3.5G and will be required for mobile TV that works without a tuner of course. Like I said I wish they would just increase the 3G coverage more then anything. One day..... Not that I know anyone well enough to video call them anyway! |

I just read somewhere that we in SA have the largest coverage of 3G and HSDPA!!
Also DVBH has been out here for the past 3 months and only 2 phones support it, a Sagem and a Samsung P910, its taking of rather well.

Your right, the swivel I think is wrong. What they mean is that it is 2 phones depending they way you hold it!!
Holding it flat, it is a camera, holding normal (upright) it a phone.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think they mean swivel like w900i

Voila!!
11 pages of posts just because of a single post, and even still no pics?????!!!!!
I see that the gossips around K900 (formerly Sofia) is much much greater than the phone itself.
let's don't fool ourselves; According to the specs mentioned in the first post Sofia is not that much a high tech phone at all.
Only a few changes:
- 5MP cam , which i believe is not very much different from the 3.2's ones.
- QVGA video recording which although is a good progress for SE, still far away from Nokia N93's DVD like recording quality
- Support of mini-SD
What about TV-out(like n93 or some samsung phones), Office viewing application (like in some samsung's non smartphones), etc.???
I'm almost certainly sure that like K800, some music aspects will also be cut out(like megabass, lowering playback volume, etc)
Although every new announcement from our loved manufacturer (SE) is highly anticipating, but just let's be a bit more realistic and think a bit more
p.s. I personally will stick to my K750 until some REALLY new handset will be released by SE. (who knows? maybe after the OFFICIAL announcement of Sofia's specs, it will become the ultimate mobile phone!!!!) |

Why is this thread here and not in the SE general section? |
