Anyone know WHERE to buy online the Blasted Silver K750i? Something I always wanted. I already own a W810i which is a better balance for me > BUT I still loved the K750i - I shouldnt have sold it; but its good. I just feel that I need the 850Mhz band for calls that I need to make while going out to lunch in the elevator. I can wait but sometimes its the only time I dont have to be embarrased talking sweet to my lady.

> That Camera Shutter is incredibly sweet though.

> EVERY KEEP your K750i as a TRUE backup to other MSDuoPro models!

M2 I just dont like but its the future, just hoping SE can increase the capacity VERY soon.

I had one and this is how I got it: I ordered a black version from Tigerdirect.com (an USA mega-store) and they shipped me a blasted silver one instead. At first I was upset because of the mistake, but then I liked it even better than the black version, and not everyone had one like this. have you tried eBay? maybe there's one there.

Deluded and i are friends, and to some extent it was my singing the praises of Symbian that pushed him down that route. Despite our using Nokia we would often speak of acquiring a SonyEricsson handset, to the extent that we were frequently comparing it to other handsets manufactured by Nokia et al. Well, he's now taken the clever step (imho) of choosing a K750i, which leaves the onus on me to acquire one too. I've been looking over some handsets, but alas, a good deal on a one-month old K-Jam came my way, a deal which was too good to resist

It leaves me in the position where he's going to be giving me a blow-by-blow account of his phone, lol, but i hope to rectify the situation in July when my better half's contract is up for renewal, at which stage we'll be going the SE route as well

Well done, bro, may your new phone bring you hours of pleasure!

Yup bro! I was quite hesitant about getting a Symbian phone at first as I wasn't sure if it would be easy to use. Now that I've tried it, I know I won't go back to a non-Symbian phone, unless it's an SE, like the K750i I've switched to. I hope you'll get your first SE phone soon!

I'm pretty excited at the moment as the HPM-70 that I bidded for online arrived in the mail this evening. It works great and only cost me a fraction of its retail price here. The packaged earphones sound okay, but I don't particularly like in-ear earphones, so I'm gonna use my own earphones. That's the best part about the HPM-70 I believe. Hmm... Perhaps it's also a good time to get a higher capacity MSPD.

That doesn't sound like a very nice place to be working, seeing how they expect you to learn on the job in just a few hours? But I'd love to be surrounded by the phones though. Posting from my phone now, so I can't reply much, but it's great to hear from you again miss uk. All the best in your new job! Wish me luck for my uni exams.

Hey Danilsa! Welcome to Esato! Glad to hear there's another happy K750 user. It's been more than a month since I bought it and I'm every bit as happy as I was when I first laid my hands on it. It's truly a great phone.

The K750's my first SE phone, but it won't be the last. Just a quick question, after a full charge, when I check my battery level immediately, it usually says 96 or 97 percent. Is that normal?

Yes, it's normal. You just have to wait for a few minutes after you turn on the phone for it to go to 100%. But while you wait you can't go into the status menu or else the percentage won't rise.

Oh, okay, thanks! So what you're saying is, after I turn on my phone, I'll have to wait for a few minutes before checking the status? And if I've checked my battery status immediately after turning on my phone, this wouldn't work even if i waited a few minutes before checking again? This also means I'll have to charge with my phone turned off right?

@deluded: you do not need to charge your phone turned off; actually, i do not recommend it since charging is not optimized by the handset if you do so. i believe the battery meter on the k750i 'estimates' the remaining battery life so sometimes the battery meter may be orange and then green again after a while. this though is not a k750i flaw, rather, it's just SE's way of making sure you do not end up with a drained battery every time (seeing as how you love it and can't take your hands off it )

by the way, i my k750i, too. i've had it for more than 6 months already and i still can't have enough of it. i've thought of replacing it but realized i simply can't...
