@PeterKay: I've removed 2 links from the strap. Also, I can't test it with a P990, since I don't know anybody that has it.
Regarding battery life, I charged it overnight and only used it for a day and a half, so I need to comeback to you when I will charge it again.
@malinda: The watch is working very well with my W950, except that I don't get any SMS alerts to the watch (it's the same for P990 and M600 according to SE website)

So it does work with UIQ3 to a certain extent, thats great news.
@Flizzy, did you get the strap sorted yourself or did you get it done at a shop!

@PeterKay: I had to go to a shop, it's really complicated to remove it yourself. That was disappointing, when I was totally ready to use it...
UIQ3 is working with this, confirmed by SE. But, as I said before, you don't get the SMS alerts. |

The battery went dead today, after 3 or 4 days of use. Maybe it's was not fully charged for me. It's supposed to work for 7 days.
The good news is that the analog watch continued to work. |
