Thanks for the support guys.
Just to clear out a issue. I dont mind people using my themes and modding them, just as long as you dont sell them. I make them and publish them for free, which is the point.

Hey mate. You have my persmission and please do. I cant really get this one to be tight. Its not quite there in my opinion.

Hi Lucas
My James Bond theme keeps taking 1 step forward and 3 steps back. I am really not having fun and think I am perhaps being too ambitious for my first theme. Still struggling to work out how all the elments fit together, but I have at least settled on an idea in my head now (I kept changing tack and being indecisive) Aside from that it is going well Would be glad of any advice you can give.

Sorry mate, you just have to keep on trying. I know it can press ones patiance to the max. The theme creator is really poor. Hang in there dude! |

Can anyone help me with the changing of the icons on the today screen (standby screen)
As in the preview image of RomanK ( 2 posts above this)
I have downloaded his theme and installed it, and it's great but has the std icons. There is a folder in download full of the mac icons, but I have no idea how to change them.

Hi David,
Just transfer the images to your phone and then use the jog-dial to highlight each shortcut in turn and then press more >>edit>>change the drop-down menu from Default to Browse and then find the images you transferred to your phone and "hey presto" all done

HELP HELP / / so i've been reading through this forum and have downloaded and installed many of the themes posted here /
absolutely brilliant stuff . much better than the standard slim
sony fare -
I am now however attempting to REPLACE the WALLPAPER/BG
images in the theme archives by downloading the archives >
unzipping them > replacing the WALLPAPER IMG FILE >
then rezipping them > and relabeling them as UTZ's
THIS unfortunately results in the phone saying the files
are damaged ? ? ? ? ? ?
i would simply like to adjust the BG image / is there any easy
way to accomplish this ? ? ? ? ? ?

Just replacing the file is not sufficient... you need to edit the XML file as well. |
