w810 may have edge but it has considerable downsides: lack of cam shutter, only 20 mb of int. mem which will result in a worst gaming experience, i have a w800 and i have to clear most of my mem in order to play more complex 3d games. im sure the new joystick is more resistant but is probably less responsive and that will affect gaming as well as browsing. |

I don't know if it's posted here before but I read that the w810 have a 1.9 inch display. (w800 1.8 inch)
That would make it hard to change covers w800 <> w810, even with new pcb.
I'm not 100% on this information though. |

about w810's screen... how will it compare with the crisp screen of w800? the 176 x 220 resolution was spread in a 1.9" screen in w810 compared to w800's 1.8". Will the pixels look grainier? Certainly w800 has more pixels per cm in its screen. |

It depends crossmatched...
The k500 display looks grainy compared to the k700 display.
On the other hand pixels is not everything. You can have same resolution on a bigger screen as in a smaller one without it getting more grainy. |

how can that happen? you cant make more pixels appear? or you can change the size of the pixels but then it would become grainy...
i doubt it has a 1.9 inch screen...

It can't happen. W800 has a tad larger DPI (Dots Per Inch). However, the possible difference in screen size is to small to be noticible by a naked eye I would guess. |

s4k1s,
k500's screen definitely looked grainier than k700 because it has lesser screen resolution. K500 has only 128 x 160 resolution in a 1.8" screen as compared to k700's crisp 176 x 220. |

The numbers pad on the W810 remind me of that of my beloved T610.
Nice...........

oh i see s4k1s. in the case of w800 and w810, they both share the same screen resolution of 176 x 220 but differ in the screen size. w810 has 1.9" viewable screen while w800 has 1.8". the 176 x 220 resolution looks crisp in a 1.8" screen. Will that be the same too for a 1.9" screen? Maybe so. Anyways, w810's screen would definitely be better than the screen of most past smartphones from the 'connecting people' company which had 176 x 208 resolution in a 2" viewable screen. have a nice day s4k1s. |
