it looks good. I heard it has an input so you can plug in a normal mp3 player as well but haven't confirmed that. Would be versatile if it does. |

until there's digital radio in phones i'm not bothered, mainly because of poor signal but also there's hardly any good stations so don't listen anyway. i would prefer, and probably will, transfer podcasts.
thinking a about it isn't there any streamed radio stations one can listen to through a 3g phone. that would be good.

So in effect, the W900i has no FM radio. Its an accessory.
Thats a pretty poor idea IMO, for whatever reason SE had to make it like that, its a step backwards IMO.
Another black mark against the phone.

i think w900 will have that ugly piece of rubber underneath to cover the ports like in my k700i. |

speeder it certainly looks like it doesn't have a lense cover.
This along with the lack of inbuilt radio really makes this phone a no go for me. But who cares I have the "almost" perfect K750!
SE are starting to do a Nokia, and are bringing out models that don't have everything (example the K500 with a vga camera but no bluetooth) but appeal to more limited market segments. |

max_wedge > what are you talking about? Dont you want SE to take market shares? They need a wide portfolio, is that a bad thing?
If you dont like this phone, I understand and K750 is a great phone, small and have alot of nice features.
This phone attracts me and will problably buy it in december. But I dont like peeps to complain they put these phones to the market like Nokia etc. Please folks, SE really need to have a large phone family so they can sell to all customers and their needs.

@max. So the alternative would be for every phone to have all the same features?

He's right though, the lack of a built in radio means it's not worth buying. Just look at the ipod, no radio at all and look how well that's done...it's done rubbish |

I thought all mobile radios had to use a plug in of some sort to use as am antenna, is that not right?

Yep. And people are missing the fact that u get the radio with the remote control. You don't get that with the ipod.

Exactly! It was a rhetorical question ;-) So does it really matter whether it is built in or not.
