What kinda dumb topic is this????
As has already been said the decision depends entirely on your uses and preferences....
I for example wouldnt even swap my nokia 3230 for the k750i since a large fraction of my needs cannot be catered to by the latter ex.
~complete web browsing with email, uploads etc
~downloading mp3s from various russian websites
~it supports numerous formats so its very convenient specially when downloading
~serious gaming
~extensive multitasking
~using EGPRS for speeds equivalent to 80-100kbps at nights
~much bigger screen...playing fullscreen high quality avi videos is a pleasure
~various applications for numerous purposes...i personally use ebook readers(currently reading the half blood prince), dictionaries, smart-call rejectors, compression softwares etc etc |

I'd like to point out that I have a K750i and I can browse the web and read my e-mails with java apps! They are very efficient and fast. I'm using PocketWeb to access the internet and Movamail to read my e-mails on all my accounts...
So really, there's no need for a smartphone to do that kind of stuff... |

Har Har....I agree with clank there......which onbe to go for depends on what the users needs are....Just posting a thread asking for which one is better ( especially when ones a symbian and the others not) is the dumbest thing i've seen here on esato in recent times.......this seems to be nothing else than one of those attention seeking threads......i wouldnt be surprised at all if the same user posts another thread in 3 months asking "Should i go for the S600 or N90" not surprised at all

for the reason you've stated, sad to say, you have to, but atleast get the 6680... but feature wise, the 6630/80/81 would be smoked by the k750.. aside from the fone modem function, and smartphones!? all s60 fones have kiddy like software, compared to real smartfones such as PDAfones, 9500, Palms etc...

let's see
first of all i have used both sets and I am holding 6630 right now.
I would recommend you to think of getting a 6681/6680 cause 6630's screen is real crap and i mean it. 6630's screen has a bit blue tint and can't display shades of yellow properly secondly it's loudspeaker is a joke it is even WORST than my t230 in terms of loudness though quality is good .I hope 6680/6681 have better display. the main selling point of 6630/80/81 is its EDGE capability
which is a VERY IMPORTANT factor in INDIA and selling point of K750i is its camera.
processor and java performances of these phones

Since 6630/81/80 have same processor these results apply to all three
The image taking process in 6630 is a pain cause you can’t switch to fullscreen view while taking pictures ,which can be done even in sagem my x4.furthermore twin cameras of 6680 are useless as we don’t have 3g in INDIA and by the time we will have 3g 6680 will become obsolete .
Now if we ignore all other factors ,we come down to ,whether you want to buy a phone with broadband access for desktop and laptop and a separate digital camera, or a phone with a very good camera(but not comparable to real digital camera) and a separate broadband connection for pc and laptop(mobile broadband which is difficult ).
AND YES 6630/81/80 CAN PLAY VIDEO AT 30 FPS.

I have just sold my 6630 and replaced it with a K750i, as I was sick and tired of Nokia software, and all the problems that go with it. Always used to have Ericsson's up until about three years ago, and then changed to Nokia, but I can not see me going back to them any time soon, if they are not going to give a reasonable form of support to their customers. Everything about Nokia software seems to be treated with some kind of top security by them, and customer support is virtualy none existant. Yes you can get problems with any phone, but when getting it sorted out involves along wait after sending it away, only to get it back in the same none working state, is not good enough. My local repair center, is totaly useless, and has never been able to do a sucesful repair yet. I do use the smartphone features of the 6630 and the 6600, 3650, I had before, and still have a 6230i, 6230, 7600, but do not use them at all. I am still able to do my day to day things with the K750i, but allot quicker, and without the constant software problems. But still the choice is yours and yours only, we can only tell you our feelings on the different phones.
