he just changed the centre number but it stopped working after a week or so

your after free SMSC numbers,
can still be accessed every now and again but its well hit and miss. i certainly wouldnt rely on it/
but google SMSC and you should be away

There was one that worked for o2 about six months ago, its posted in a thead here. I used it and I've sent over 5,000 texts, no charge.

It is possible to change the service centre number and send free texts. Am currently on the o2 network in the uk and have been using these centre numbers for some time, however mine has just stopped working andi am lost without them. please has anybody got the new one? if anybody has i would willingly return the favour with the next one
