Hey govigov is the 7610 as good as the 3230? From what is apparent the keypad of the 3230 makes the phone a bit difficult to use. Does the 7610 boast of similar/better features in the same price range? Or the best bet is to cough out enough money for the 6680...
P.S. : what i need is 262k colors..EDGE ..a good camera and definitely multitasking..

Personally I don't like the design of the 3230 and the keypad looks small/uncomfortable. Do you want a smart phone (install your own symbian applications) or just a nokia with a lot of functions (you can still install java applications (games and so)?

The only s60 phones better than 3230 are 668x and 6630. 3230 is a classic nokia smartphone....what that means is that at not so high a price you get a phone that is a jack of all trades but master of none(or very few) meaning it'll do practically anything a phone can but not necessarily in the best possible manner. If you really need the smartphone features then just might be the best value for money phone currently in the market....oh btw its just 110g which is quite a distinction for a s60  |

I am looking for a smart phone. One which has bluetooth,EDGE,wap/html browser,video recording ..Lots of image processing related functions..The 3230 sounds like a trial platform..Where one can explore and the 66xx seems more like the REAL THING .. Has anyone tried it out? I believe that the speed of the 66xx makes it super cool.

6630 is much better in all aspects it is far advanced than 3230.I bought 6630 2week back.On same day my friend bought the 3230 for almost same price.Now i am far more happy with my phone than him.He is unhappy with keypad and dirt under the screen.So take your pick.Even 6681 is at about the same price range of 6630.But only it has better screen and camera cover. |

As far as i'm aware whilst listening to MP3's on the Nokia 3230 through a stereo headset, stereo sound isn't produced but instead mono. Is that true? |

Ya ... exactly so..although it says stero sound...the sound seems more like mono..thats a minus point for the 3230...one thing that is ok about it that for beginers its "smart" phone that comes at an affordable price...15-16 K INR...where as the 66xx is easily more than 20k INR |

6630? smartphone? it can do one thing, keep the screen freezed. everytime u want to some thing n it freezes. lots of bugs. instead go for 6681. othewise 3230 is better

hmmm funny that you say that, because i have a 6630 too and it never freezes and noo bugs whats soo ever, maybe you bought it when it 1st came out, you should upgrade the software it should sort it out.

Bad choice for a Nokia 3230 I think you go for SE better phones ,better technology,better compatiblity,What Else... Cant Compare.... |
